Maybe I'll start applying for Chase airline co-branded cards only after I'm done churning every UR card I possibly can, better currency and instant 1:1 transfer of points....

A lot less convenient though.

Sometimes, but you must also take into consideration that you're much more limited with destinations.

And you have to consider that SWA doesn't have capacity controls, gives 2 free bags, and allows you to speculatively make bookings at low rates and then cancel with no penalty.

They're both good to have in your back pocket.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Agreed, I take back my words that they don't even compare, but I'd still rather accumulate BA over SW, just because of more available destinations.
I get 3 free bags on AA (when traveling + wife and daughter) which is usually enough for me on domestic.
But yes, no capacity control is a big (huge) plus for SW.
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

I'm thinking about applying today for the Southwest card, and would appreciate recommendations for some other chase cards to apply for at the same time. I already have a Sapphire Preferred Visa and United Visa (no annual fee), so I was thinking about doing the Southwest, Ink and Freedom. Can anyone guide me as whether these are the best choices to add to my collection?  Am I better off with Ink Plus or Ink Bold?

Also how has Chase been with 3BM and 4BM applications? Do they generally ok, but YMMV?

Have people generally been just as successful using one browser and clearing the cookies after each application?

thx

Do they waive the annual fee for the first year by SM'ing?

Agreed with BA providing more available destinations out of NY, which makes it a better card to have

Try using SM or HUCA. Don't cancel a card before getting approved for another card. Your open cards are leverage.

Hooray! All three were pending or declined, but got approved for all 3, after a call with Chase Reconsideration. Very impressed with how proactive and helpful the rep was with moving credit limits around to make it work.
