10 months.  Thanks for making me check, I'm going to consolidate everything to my non-preferred sapphire.

Haha my pleasure.
Did you do a lot of spending recently or just the initial spend to get the companion pass?
I only paid 15% by switching to dansdeals

Definitely "top-heavy" to get the pass, but the cards do get regular use.

I was in the SW terminal in LAX today, they had applications for the premier card with a 50k signup bonus offer. i asked if i could take some applications (to give it out to those that want here on DDF). they said they couldnt cuz they have to fill out some sort of code on the bottom of the app when you sign up. oh well. also not sure if it was discussed previously, but i asked about the plus card and they said that SW discontinued offering the Plus card. anyone who has one already is being grandfathered in to the new system.....

Interesting. I had read that the 50K was only being offered at the airport right now, possibly intentionally, but didn't hear about phasing out the Plus.

Just two minutes of googling (maybe less if you're better than me) and you can find links to Plus card aps...only problem is they are for 25k. Bottom line, it doesn't look like they are getting rid of that card.

I cancelled my Personal SW premier in January. Do think they will accept me again or do I have to wait a year or so to churn? thanks!
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

it's a good idea but not strictly necessary, you may need to change a few minor details on your new RR app so it doesn't automatically get synced with the old one

I don't understand isn't it better if it gets synced with old account?

Register for a new RR #, then merge the accounts after you're approved?

No, the whole point of making a new RR# is so that you don't get flagged as having previously got the bonus. While they will usually give it to you regardless there have certainly been instances where they withheld the bonus. If you need to merge for companion pass purposes then do so after the points post. If not i see no reason to. I currently have 4 RR accounts unsynced.

I just made a RR account for myself. Didn't ask for any info on my SW card. How does it show up in my RR account if it's not linked to my SW CC?

If I want to redeem for gift cards, I need to have a SW credit card. I'm assuming that CC has to be attached to that rw account.
Is it a issue reapplying if the old sw cc account still shows up when I log in online?(was closed in January)
