yes, you will prob need to change a few minor details so they won't automatically sync with old one.

sounds interesting. I was in LAX this week, and they had a booth with SW applications there for 50K, but they had to be done on the spot.
Bringing them out of the airport wouldn't get 50K. Was in a rush -- Will make the time next week to apply in the SW terminal, iy"H.

Unfortunately, they only have Premier apps and not Plus. I wonder if they have Premier Biz. That can be a way to get the CP. Will be in DEN today and can check.

Sounds good -- it's for a new sign-up, so I think that I'll be fine with whatever the have for 50K points... Esp if we can do personal and business? (Or not.)

Per Matthew in LAX this morning, people may apply for multiple biz apps based on multiple EIN#s.
(However, he cannot guarantee a bonus for each one.)

$2K spend in 3 months -> 50K bonus if apply in airport. $99 annual fee. 6,000 anniversary milage bonus.

Similar in LAX; however, Matthew told us to write in the EIN where the SS# goes and to write at the top what the business title is... Hopefully they will go through successfully.

He was also aware of the benefits of 2 apps per person towards a CP.

I remember that for some time you were able to redeem miles for gift cards even if you didn't have the CC. anyone knows if this was a often deal or just a one time thing?

quick question for the forum pls: my cousin already has the Plus card which came with a Rapid Rewards #, and now when signing up for the Premier Card he forgot to tell the rep on the phone the same RR# that he got from the Plus card. is the premier card now gonna come with a new RR# in which case he totally screwed himself over in terms of getting the CP? or because his name is already in the system so the Premier card gets automatically linked to his original RR# that he got from the plus?

IME, it's better to davka not make the same RR for both apps... Better to earn the 55K bonus on each first and then combine after for your CP.

Generally, a points bonus is awarded because you are a first time customer.

If you already have a number, then chances are that you are no longer "first time". I like to play it safe, (However, I think same RRs have reached the 110K, as well.)

Have there been issues of ppl putting it all under the same number without getting the CP?
