So your going to be moving to Canada?  ;)

Very interesting that there charging monthly, and not waiving the 1st year.

Super weird MR program.

Seems the 5x F&B is only within Canada.

Basically, 2.5 SPG per dollar at groceries and restaurants... + 20,000 SPG sign up with 6k spend over a year. Not bad...

And , a  Canadian dollar is really 81 cents..
So it's actually 3.1 SPG per dollar.

MR converts to SPG at a 2 to 1 ratio. This card is restricted from airline transfer partners, but not hotel partners.. unless they change it..

Ok...Here goes. I choose my own doctor...I can get as many opinions as I like...It's never occurred to me to go across the border for treatment...And I've  never had to wait at all for anything urgent or even important....

Compared to tearing my hair out of my head dealing with HMO that would randomly refuse to cover Doctors and treatments, and cost an arm and both legs...

Oh yeah, having lived in both worlds, I'll take Canadian Health Care any day...

I've lived in both places, and the US healthcare system is definitely more advanced. Health insurance, however, is a killer here, access to healthcare is still better in US, faster appointments to specialists and of course top of the line doctors.

Their fixed points travel program looks great. See here for an explanation http://blog.rewardscanada.ca/2016/11/american-express-fixed-points-travel.html

Would love for this to come to the US.

Any idea if this card has FX charges?
