You can transfer AMEX Or Citi points to Qantas at a 1:1 ratio, Barclays points at a 1.4:1 ratio, Capital One points at a 2:1.5 ratio, or Marriott points to Qantas at a 60K:25K ratio.

Qantas doesn’t charge fuel surcharges for El Al flights.
Infants are free (besides taxes). They also get a regular checked baggage allowance of 23 kg.

QF runs regular transfer bonus promos. Be sure to transfer 500 points into your account and opt in for emails to get targeted.

Flights are bookable from NYC, BOS, MIA, and LAX.

SMS is the easiest way to contact Qantas. The number is 1-478-772-6827. This can be used for airports that are unavailable online.

NYC-TLV is 37.8k points each way in Y, 63k in premium economy and 78k in J.
On 9/18/19 premium economy will be going up to 70.8k and J will be going up to 90k (each way).
Cancellation fee is 6k points.

SMS is currently not working.
Called, waited for 54 min after call got answered we got disconnected…

I booked business class tickets with EL AL through Qantas but now need to make a date change to the flight. Can I make the change directly through EL AL or can I only make the change through Qantas? And if there is no longer availability through Qantas I’m screwed?

Only with Qantas. Yes you are screwed. Maybe you can wait to see if El AL cancels or changes your flights. Then you can make changes with them

If you look on the top tab, the taxes amount will indicate if its Elal

How did you book the ticket? if it is a regular ticket the only way to upgrade is through EL AL. Though they do let you upgrade with matmid points

Elal claims they cannot upgrade if booked thru Qantas.

Yes if you booked thru Qantas then check with Qantas if you can upgrade. In this case, i don't think you can upgrade with ELAL matmid points. Your last option is to upgrade with $ which they always let..
