There is some availability on Qantas with direct flights from JFK to TLV after Pesach.

I let 63,500 points expire with qantas. they'll reinstate if I 'make' 2500 points in 6 months from 2 sources. any data points on if CC transfers work?

trying to book LTN to TLV via qantas with points.. I don't see any options of putting in LTN in the search engine.. any idea how many points that would cost me in business class with elal and if there is any way to book this without having to call qantas?

Search for LHR to TLV, and if anything is available from LTN it will show up in the results as well

I booked 2 tickets to Israel after moving Amex points to Qantas. 2 business class tickets cost me 180,000 Amex Points. It looks like I wont be flying to Israel next month. I am a novice so 2 questions.
1. How do I cancel this flight
2. Is there anyway for me to get those points back instead of having them stuck with Qantas?

is your assumption true, can you transfer a ELAL ticket that was booked on Qantas?

Dont know about el al, but when i book BA on AA sometimes i have to wait a couple weeks for it to be officially ticketed

I’m in the same boat! Booked 3 economy seats + infant two nights ago and still haven’t been tickets!!!

Skimming the board it looks like a common issue but does anyone have a suggestion on how to get these ticketed quicker?

As a side note, I booked two business class tickets on ElAl through Qantas earlier this month and they were ticketed immediately.

So I found out that when there is an infant in the booking, QF needs to issue the tickets manually.
I sent them a message through twitter and they issued within 2 hours
