Says operated by KlasJet so it must be Sundor; regardless there was some availability but on Qantas they don't even recognize EFL, emirates does

I just successfully added ELAL PROTECT to my flight booked with Qantas points. Anyone have any idea if I will actually get a voucher  if cancelled? If yes, how much would it be?

Another question, ELAL says they can only touch the reservation booked by a travel agent (in this case Qantas) after first leg is taken. So technically if I book roundtrip with Qantas, will ELAL change the flight to any date I want for the return?

something doesnt sound right. seems more like you just lost $30 i cant see it helping you, especially not after flying a leg , even on regular elal tickets that doesnt work

I knew I was risking the $30 lol. i wasn't asking that about then second leg, just asking that if I would cancel and get voucher, what would happen?

Booked LY flights using QF points. Have DL Diamond, was able to attach to the reservation. Acc to LY agent (took 20 min on hold 🤦), my DL benefits only apply if I booked the ticket through DL or LY…has anyone else had similar experience or can offer advice?

you cant cancel by elal and you wont get voucher  you can only cancel by qantas

I'm confused as to why you would do that?
QF awards are cancellable for 6k - and in many people's experience, including mine a few times, they never actually charge the change fee

didnt charge change fee when doing online or by phone ?
did you have more points in the account ?

By me those were never charged, on two separate occasions

How late before the flight can I cancel the tickets? Do I need to have the points in my account to "pay" to cancel? Best way to cancel is over the phone?
