Finally posted (I have to confirm it's the right amount), I called Thursday , got a supervisor, who told me that there is a single person on the Marriott side in charge of the transfers. She sent that person an email and gave them all my info. Said I should hear from said person soon.
I didn't hear from anybody (and unfortunately I couldn't get a contact name or info for them), but the points posted today.
Chasdei Hashem, the flight I needed was still available.

For this case, yes. I land in Israel via UA SFO-TLV Monday night. Would like to be back in LAX by 9am Wednesday. This way I get a day in Israel and fly direct back in J where hopefully I'll sleep

No need to excuse yourself for flying El Al. There's a 98%+ chance you will have a very positive experience. The vast majority of people bashing El Al on DDF have never flown El Al and most definitely not in a premium class.

my question was more if the LY hard and soft products are worth the aggravation and 6 week wait for points to post  opposed to another option. didnt ask anyone to excuse themselves for flying LY. i am booked end of jan for convenience as well

1. CapitalOne to QF transfer time?

2. Also it is no issue to transfer points QF family points to other QF family members?

-Thanks

This isn't directly related to the thread but I just had a crazy long time on an SPG to ANA transfer that took almost 4 weeks, the day before I had transfered from regular Amex (I need SPG for the last 25k of points) and it was only 48 hours...I think Marriott is the one causing all these ridiculous transfer times...

Wanna book a j class on ly using QF points.

Firstly how can I transfer from ur or mr to QF?

Secondly I see on this thread  it takes a few days to post. What happens if by the time it posts in QF there is no more availability? Don’t want my points stuck there....

I am about to book a one way ELAL flight using qantas points. I am booking for an adult and infant (lap ticket) but I see that there is almost no charges (only a few $) for adding the infant. Will Elal allow the infant to board or will they charge me extra at the checkin counter?

They will allow the infant to board. QF doesn't charge much for infants that is one of the benefits of using them.

Premium economy should have the same tax as economy.
PE pays more tax, something in the tax code with a wall that separates the cabins, and DL stopped selling W as a separate cabin for UK agencies. I'm talking offhand here don't have all the exact info to my hand at the moment
