You can transfer AMEX Or Citi points to Qantas at a 1:1 ratio, Barclays points at a 1.4:1 ratio, Capital One points at a 2:1.5 ratio, or Marriott points to Qantas at a 60K:25K ratio.

Qantas doesn’t charge fuel surcharges for El Al flights.
Infants are free (besides taxes). They also get a regular checked baggage allowance of 23 kg.

QF runs regular transfer bonus promos. Be sure to transfer 500 points into your account and opt in for emails to get targeted.

Search availability on elal.com
Flights are bookable from NYC, BOS, MIA, and LAX.

SMS is the easiest way to contact Qantas. The number is 1-478-772-6827. This can be used for airports that are unavailable online.

NYC-TLV is 37.8k points each way in Y, 63k in premium economy and 78k in J.
On 9/18/19 premium economy will be going up to 70.8k and J will be going up to 90k (each way).
Cancellation fee is 6k points.

I was booked on 12:05 flight TLV-EWR, they ended up merging it with the 1:00 flight, so now my flight is 1:00, is it possible to get it changed to 12:20 TLV-JFK would ELAL/Qantas do it?

I called ELAL, but they refused as it is a Qantas ticket, Qantas told me that they sent a request to ELAL to see if it could get changed.

I wanted to see if ppl will comment on the price of qantas miles which is highly influenced by this route. Since the amex promo prices have been rising from 1.1 to 1.185 for the price per point on the market. As long as availability remains strong as it has during summer and holidays, and supply gets slimmer, I can see the price moving way past 1.3. How high do you think it will go?

ETA: This belongs in the price thread... but still.

I would not call availability strong. You cannot find more than 2 X seats per flight

El Al  Is not showing me the option to choose a seat with a flight booked through Qantas, anyone had this issue?

I booked a flight for a friend arriving in Tel Aviv 12:30pm Erev Yom Kippur. After a day or 2 he decided that it is a little late. Im on hold with Qantas for hours and hours noone is ever picking up, I need to change the flight. Can I call ElAl to change it? Is there any way to do it online? Does anyone know their policy? Tia
