You can transfer AMEX Or Citi points to Qantas at a 1:1 ratio, Barclays points at a 1.4:1 ratio, Capital One points at a 2:1.5 ratio, or Marriott points to Qantas at a 60K:25K ratio.

Qantas doesn’t charge fuel surcharges for El Al flights.
Infants are free (besides taxes). They also get a regular checked baggage allowance of 23 kg.

QF runs regular transfer bonus promos. Be sure to transfer 500 points into your account and opt in for emails to get targeted.

Flights are bookable from NYC, BOS, MIA, and LAX.

SMS is the easiest way to contact Qantas. The number is 1-478-772-6827. This can be used for airports that are unavailable online.

NYC-TLV is 37.8k points each way in Y, 63k in premium economy and 78k in J.
On 9/18/19 premium economy will be going up to 70.8k and J will be going up to 90k (each way).
Cancellation fee is 6k points.

I booked LY26, 9PM overnight flight from Newark for a Sunday next June in J, although I realized after booking that it's their old 777 flight without updated business class.  I also booked a return on a LY7 on a Thursday to JFK, in July, with the new J product.

Are they blocking or could it be that with the many millions of points transferred over to Qantas with all the AMEX and Cap One bonuses, that seats got snapped up.  Have you checked the calendar for the days that have just opened up on the calendar?  Are those also only showing two flights and only Tuesday and Wednesdays.  I'm not trying to be obnoxious but I'm just asking because maybe the second they open, they flights are getting snapped up (or I could also be naive)? :)

When did you book those flights? ELAL shows availabilty for other days, but when I go to Qantas and expertflyer, the only days that are available are Tues and Weds for TLV-JFK. According to @Dan they are being blocked.
HE mentioned something about other cities, but still waiting on @Dan's clarification

I am only seeing Tuesday availability on that route YYZ-NYC

Not sure how @Denverite was able to book Thursday and Sunday flights. Maybe it was before they started blocking

Any other cities you recommend looking into? Such a shame that ELAL shows availability on Sundays, but its blocked for Qantas
