The Centro is slender, has a keyboard, and palm os performs as a phone much better than windows does IMHO.  Easy and intuitive to use.  Windows on a phone always felt bulky, clumsy, and non-intuitive to me, even if it does have more raw power.

Plus there are thousands of great palm apps that can be had for free, tons of great free jewish apps, and using it as a modem is a breeze.
The build quality of the 2nd generation Centro is top-notch.  I do agree to avoid the 1st generation though.  If you get a Green Centro then you know it is a 2nd generation device.

Am I biased? Perhaps.  I've been using Palm OS phones for a decade now and the Centro for over 4 years now!  Of course that'll end the day the Nexus Prime is released if not sooner...
BTW you can load android on a TP2

I also would go with the centro over the TP2 (I had it for a year or so)
But Im not sure about sprint - they might charge a $10 fee for adding the centro on a new phone
There's no fee to have the Centro on any plan.

Did you try doing it online?  I had a circa-2001 plan and had no problem putting a Centro on it, so that seems hard to believe.

Yes it could be done

And yeki89 - since it could be done i see that this phone is a good option for you (since the centro wont work for you)

if OP is looking specifically for Wifi (not centro) then some of the other windows ones (treo pro, intrepid) are smaller than the TP2 (although not as powerful) and may fit his particular needs better then the centro (assuming he can find 1 of those windows phones, sprint doesn't seem to sell them anymore)

Its a little complicated.... but it could be done by having android run from the sd card

im not sure if every feature from the phone will work - like camera and gps...

what other windows phones?

Basically yea, but still it isnt flawless, and if you want a good working phone I wouldn't specifically recommend it

This whole idea of getting android onto windows phones is from a team of hackerss...

bluetooth and GPS doesnt work
