Not sure if you'd be interested in this, but... If a couple gets divorced, sometimes, as part of the agreement, they sell the jewelry and split the cash acc to whatever they agreed on. Selling to a pawn shop will probably get them a fraction of what they paid for it, they evaluate it by the weight. So... Find a couple getting divorced, offer them 50% more than the pawn shop...

Never thought to do that, but I think I will from  now on once I hear your answer.  I put my cursor over the link and in the bottom left corner popped up an http  site.  The name  of that link means nothing to me though.  Is this what you meant by previewing?
