#2: 888-643-9628

Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)

It's been declined.

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

From all my HUCA today it seems that its best to call for personal cards right away, don't let it get declined, its much harder to push through or move credit to a card that's been declined.

I don't understand how HUCA could help; the rep knows about the previous calls, and just gets annoyed about the HUCA.

YMMV. Not all reps reference prior calls. That is why some get cards approved after the fifth time. Following your logic HUCA never should be attempted which we know is not true.

There are worse things on life than having a Chase rep annoyed at you. Worst case scenario, you develope a terrible case on instant onset appendicitis and HU.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

That's not the point. The point is, how could it help?

It has been proven 1000+ times that HUCA got the job done and the first rep that did not want to approve it was overturned by a second rep that approved it.

Because sometimes you get a rep who's nasty, and sometimes you get a rep who's great. That's why you HUCA.

Did 2BM for Marriott and Marriott Biz for Mrs. AJK.

Both pending. Did not call.

Personal approved for $30K and biz still pending.

For Marriott Biz, received notice in mail asking for proof of address of business. Sent in.

Also, applied for WN-P and WN-B. Let simmer.

Chase recon ended up calling me regarding WN-P. Approved.

Applied for Ink+ yesterday in-branch, the banker told me the application went pending but the banker called in to have it reviewed immediately. The analyst on the phone said she recommended approval but had to get a second approval. She then came back with a denial for having too many recent inquiries or accounts open. I have 4 cards open in the past 24 months, but they all were opened in the past 4 months.

I called reconsideration and explained I would reduce my personal credit lines with Chase ($30K credit lines total with about $60k reported income) because I didn't need that much. I said I wasn't applying for the Ink+ to get more credit, just to get the card. She said she had to send it for second review and would be notified within 2 weeks.

If I reduce my credit lines now, will that show up to whoever does second review at reconsideration? Or should I only offer to reduce my credit lines if I am declined again by second review?
