PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

Approved on Purim. ;D
Now on to BA...
Just approved for UMPE. Should I call recon for BA, or let it take its course?

I called recon about an ink and she asked me a million questions and said that she recommended me for approval but needs one final approval and they will let me know in 1-2 weeks. is that good or should I try calling again?

Date Point: DW applied for Hyatt on on 3/15/16 and got pending. Tried calling it in numerous times but was told to just let it process. Just called to check status and approved! Way over 5/24 and it took 9 days to work its way through the system.

The 5/24 for cobrand cards are not in effect yet

Have tried recon via SM a few times and I keep getting a "will contact you within 7 days" response but no response comes.  Prefer not to PUTPAC on this card - anyone have similar issues with SM?

That is good . But you could play dumb and call on two days
and they might give you an answer .
Regardless of the time it's a good sign.

They were supposed to go into effect at some point this month so I was giving a DP that it still hasn't gone into effect. And was giving a DP as to how long it takes an app to work through the system.

That happened to me and I called back a week later and all the rep had to do was push it through to approval. So maybe call in a few days.

These guys have become major hardasses.  Applied for UA and Marriott (both pers) about a month ago, in that order.  Didn't call in, UA was declined, Marriott approved (also in that order...go figure).  Marriott approval letter moved credit from another card and references a discussion that never took place in which I supposedly agreed to that (I would've told them to open the UA card instead).

HUCA x5 today, getting nowhere.  Just keep repeating "too many new accounts, can't reconsider" and tells me to pound sand when I point out the other application that was approved.

Thoughts?  Just keep HUCAing?  Switch to SM?  Both?

SM is worthless.

Hubs applied for CSP with FAKO 811 and it went to pending.  Last time was in July, first new app in over 10 years, and he was denied then. We'll see what happens.

Good news though. We were both approved for Hyatt and SPG (business version for me). Hyatt gave him 28K CL. Really? Save some for the CSP!

Guess we'll start planning out first ever trip to NY. Need to go visit the Hyatt forum. I remember reading stuff about booking, etc. :)

Leave it and leave it, IMO. You can combine pulls later.
Which credit bureau should be called for this?

With Chase, past data shows yes.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Has anyone here recently been approved for 4 Chase cards within a 3 month period? Approved for 2 cards (applied for same day) about 2 months ago and 1 month ago, and would like to apply for 2 more now before the whole 5/24 sets in. It seems recently Chase has been more willing to approve cards - thoughts? Worth the pull?
