Chase Reconsideration

I have had 8 Chase cards in the last 12 months. 6 personal and 2 biz. 2 in Dec, and 2 in Feb. About 25 cards total in the last 12 months from all issuers.

I app'd for the Ritz and UA biz last night.  Status call this morning got 2 week msg.

As usual, I called recon this morning. Got right through. Was approved for both after a 15 minute call. They did ask why I had so many cards. I had thoghtful and truthful answers that seemed to have appeased.

It seems this is happening with all chase cards lately. Did anyone successfully churn a chase card within 24 month recently?

Wife and I both got United Explorer cards within the last 2 months and have gotten the bonus less than 24 months ago (diff FF#)

Seriously, what I meant is: do they see on the app which one it is, so if the other type calls, it's a red flag.

You guys call up Chase as your wives? I know people do that with Amex but thought Chase is more strict with that (I'm talking about if DW's name is clearly a woman's name).

No need to wait until Friday if you plan on calling anyways.

I called and he offered to move over credit from a different card, then he came back and said it's pending. Strange or normal? HUCA?
(No zochor/nekaivah issues. )

They usually go over the credentials, ask name birthdate or last 4 digits of social before accepting

I applied for

1) INk - Pending (had to send in documentation proving my address)
2) United Mileage Plus card - Approved

Is it worth me applying for another consumer card, as a what the heck i already pulled the my credit? Would they not approve my business card because of too many tries or I should just first try to confirm my Ink card and then work on whatever 3rd card I try for?
