#2: 888-643-9628

Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

If it doesn't work for all CPC, how do you know that when a CPC gets approved it's because of CPC status? Some people have gotten approved even without CPC status at all, so it could be that it wasn't the CPC that got them approved

CPC is reportedly dead as a 5/24 bypass. In-branch approvals are the only way right now.
CPC is dead to get around 5/24. Luckily the person (on my CPC account) who applied is 7/24 for just a short time remaining and will be 4/24 on 1-Feb. The CPC banker spoke to the representative on the phone (this was in branch in the CPC office while the applicant and I were sitting there) and was told to call back after 1-Feb and "will probably be approved".

Now, back in August, when I applied, I was more than 10/24 and was approved even without CPC at the time. It took a little juggling of CLs, but the representative in the branch got it done.

Trust me, I'd rather get everything approved online in a minute or two sitting at home as usual, but for such lucrative offers I'm willing to spend an hour or so at the branch while the bankers do their thing.

im gunnu call, just curious if anyone has had anything like that, anything should bear in mind when discussing with them.

thanx

nope:(

after getting the letter i called again to check status and says pending (whichever message means declined). i think safe to say its officially declined just curious if that initial false approval message means anything or if anyone has had similar.

I applied for 3 different cards, 2 were approved by recon. When I tried to recon the 3rd, the rep didn't see it, only the two approved applications. Anyway to find a reference number before receiving the denial letter?

Looking to pay someone $50 per approval (I have 2 apps)
For chase denials due to 'too many recent applications' (not 5/24 cards)

You must have a successful track record with recon.

thanks

Just applied for 2 southwest cards, 1 personal, 1 biz. Got pending approval on both apps telling me it can take up to 30 days. Account was 1/24. Call recon now or wait a bit?

Any thoughts on whether, when negotiating b/c of being over 5/24, there's any reason to prefer or avoid speaking to supervisors as opposed to just continuing to huca to regular agents if not having luck?

The only way you have any chance of approval is by speaking to a senior lending officer or higher, good luck though, probably won't happen.
