The chart gave a .21% chance that it would be declined

I got denied for CIP based on too many credit pulls recently. I recently signed up for a Chase Sapphire preferred, which I got approved, but that's the only recent card I have. I called reconsideration and was on the phone for about 45 minutes with a rep and after all that got denied again.... Is there anything to do? Can i call back again? Should I wait a bit?

The fact that you're 6/24 is irrelevant here.

Anyone ever been asked to send in a copy of their social for verification purposes for recon? It's for the southwest business card.
I had to for the marriott business for verification purposes and was approved shortly after.
I have a friend that had the same thing with chase business ink preffered. It seems they want verification for business cards

Just got instantly approved for one card with 15k CL and then got approved within 5 minutes for another card with 15k CL (without calling - but it showed up on my account within five minutes). Is there any shot to be approved for a third, I heard whispers that chase can shut you down even after approval if they feel you are applying for too many...

Both cards werent under 5/24 guidelines...

Your saying there is no difference between applying for 2 or 3 cards in one day? How is that possible?

I am saying recent shutdown reports generally had other things on their CR as well even with just 1 app.

Within a few weeks usually but some are longer, don't do any MS or crazy spending for a few months. Basically it seems like they are doing a kind of "FR," not everyone gets shut down but many get a hold put on their account while they do a review.

They told me that I have too many credit cards open. I have a slate card which I haven't used in years. Should I just cancel that card? Will it hurt my credit?

If it's gonna bring down the average length of history by alot then it's not good to close.
