This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing of our decision, in approximately 2 weeks
It's pending.
If you hear:
This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing, within 7 to 10 business days, of our decision
It's been declined.

Business cards application status: call 800-453-9719.

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

Yes. I recently did a product change to turn it into a freedom unlimited and I have to wait a certain amount of time till I can do another product change.

Yes. I recently did a product change to turn it into a freedom unlimited and I have to wait a certain amount of time till I can do another product change.

They have a 2 time change rule in 12 months. So you must have changed it two times recently. I had the same thing a few months ago and that is what they explained to me

Is this what stops one from upgrading to reserve as necessary and not paying annual fee (for the most part) but get 50% whenever needed?

Finally got them to manually review today. First got approved. Rep said he’s only allowed to review one, transferred me for second got declined due to too many cards & recent approval & low usage on chase cards

Seems like after a certain amount of days they will agree to transfer you to the real recon or “lending”

Here's what we need to continue reviewing your application

Proof of physical address for business (e.g. utility bill)

Acceptable Documents - Business Physical Address   
  • Articles of Incorporation/Organization
  • Certificate of Formation
  • IRS EIN/TIN confirmation letter
  • Utility bill such as gas, water, electric, sewage, phone land line, internet or cable dated within the last 90 days

I don't have a Utility bill in DW name.
Can I send a mortgage statement?

Called back today & got the same rep as the first card that approved first app. Bh he approved my second card now. He said 1 in 80 chance to get the same rep

I applied for both ink cards, first was pending and got approved after calling recon..  the other was declined I called recon and they said they can not approve it because I have to many business cards  with them also the first card was approved with a high credit line.. I asked them to shift over from the first and they said since its a new card which was just approved  they can't move over anything.. I tried HUCA but he said that it was looked over by recon so they will not change the decision, any reason to call again? probably one will not say other than the first rep.. is this the case?
