(If you have a fraud alert on your account, recon will instantly transfer you here for verification, so you might as well call directly)

To fax in verification documents:
#1: 888-643-9624
#2: 888-643-9628
#3: 201-328-3289 (according to a rep from this dept, it's quicker than the other listed numbers)

Chase CS #: 1-800-432-3117

To know whether your application is pending or declined:
Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)
Press 3, then 1, then key in your SSN.
If you hear:
This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing of our decision, in approximately 2 weeks
It's pending.
If you hear:
This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing, within 7 to 10 business days, of our decision
It's been declined.

Business cards application status: call 800-453-9719.

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

I was just wondering. What's the worst that can happen from messing up with recon? Can it effect other accounts (not pending) or future applications?

During the 60k bonus period I did a 3BM for the bold, plus, and united biz. I was accepted for the bold and declined for the other 2.

After calling recon a few times and being rejected due to reasons such as "new business" and multiple applications I got a call from
the executive office contact whom I've called after the first reconsideration failure. She told me that she can approve the plus. Hurray!

Now I need to wait next week to try getting the united approved.

Summary: Call the executive office and get the extension of the person before hanging up. They will follow up.
Customer service is better than what you sometimes get at recon(such as a disgruntled CS representative barking "How did you get this number!").

Chas  told me that they can't give me the IP (I did a 2BM for that and IB during Small Business Week) because they first want to see how I do with the credit they gave me. When I told the rep to shift it over from business she put me on hold and said they can't because they don't let you open more than 2 cards in 60(!) days and I've opened 4. She didn't even ask anything about my business. HUCA? It was only my first time calling.

I applied on the 20th, got one letter in the mail that I was declined, but the number still says pending, one for 7-10 days and one for 2 weeks.
Called in on Friday, Rep was very nice, after a few questions about my "business" got approved for IB by moving 5K CL from my BA card, didn't want to push it since I had read here that it's better to HUCA for each card separately, so I called back about the IP, another few minutes on the phone, explained that I have to separate businesses and want to have separate spending, got approved my moving another 5K form BA.

So for all you guys waiting to HUCA, sounds like things quieted down there, they didn't seem even a bit irritated.

They didn't want to move the whole CL from the BA card since there was a 95 AF charge on the account, and I wanted to close that account to get back the AF. If I move over the rest of the CL after I pay off the 95, will that have a negative impact on my relationship with chase?

Yikes I just called recon and she wouldn't even consider closing my SW Bus card to open the IP, just said too many applications.

I haven't applied for a CC in 6 months?

Off hours reps that seem to be nicer.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

I just called Recon

I got an INK Plus Approved.

I had a pending UA Biz - Rep said that it cant be approved since they cant offer me more credit.

I have a INK Bold with a 37k credit line - I asked him to move over some. He said "Charge card credit can not be moved," is that statement true?

Yes, IME.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks

Would Chase let me move CL from a new account? (according to the rep they can't, but maybe after I activate the card ...)

Move CL from a personal card? Some guy a few posts up got both his Bold and Plus opened by moving CL from a BA personal.
