Move CL from a personal card? Some guy a few posts up got both his Bold and Plus opened by moving CL from a BA personal.
I don't know if that will work for me without closing a card

I got offered many times by regular bank reps that I could move CL from my INK Bold to personal, I'll try moving before I call back recon

Called back an hour later, rep closed SW Bus and opened Ink Plus.

HUCA wins the day again!
Good for you, when u called back a half hour later the rep told me very tersely that he sees that I just spoke to his coworker and he still can't approve it for the same reasons she gave me. Apparently they share notes.

The first time I called when the lady said no I just said "Ok thank you" and then she hung up. Maybe she didn't make notes for me?

HUCA fatigue from all the noobs during Ink Week.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

Yes, IME.
Is this true even to an existing account? I just transferred 5k to my wife's IB to get it approved for a nice IP and IB 2bm but would love to get the line back one day when I close the IB card.

Move CL from a personal card? Some guy a few posts up got both his Bold and Plus opened by moving CL from a BA personal.

Wouldn't this negatively effect the credit utilization and hence the credit score? Unless he opened another personal with a different provider?

Did a 4 BM two weeks ago(IB,IP,Marriot and BA). Got the two personal cards approved and two biz denied because I opened too many cards recently(Did a 3BM in March). Tried HUCA many times, and they say they can't approve me because I opened 5 cards so recently. Recon didn't budge when I offered to transfer CL. Said he could approve one biz if I closed one of the new personal cards. My question is: is there any way to get the points for the new cards if I meet their spend and close them before the month is up? I was thinking maybe I could move the closing date up.....? Any help would be appreciated.

If its business card, direct ti through the business option and if personal, through that side. Though i think as long as you explain what you want, it will be forwarded tot he correct department.

OK I tried it.  Wish me luck.  I'm so sick of the phone calls.  You sometimes wait on hold forever and then get stuck with a grumpy CSR.  At least this way I minimize my time spent.

I got an ink plus and they will only give me United card if I move a line of credit  from the I'm plus.   I met the spend threshold on the plus but it hasn't posted yet. How do I do it so I still get those points

BEWARE!!jokes on me they do notate the account even when you hang up on them (or especially when you hang up on them ;))as i called last night and they told me that my account was reviewed 6 times already ...... i spoke with the supervisor he said they dont see any business report and they think the 2 cards are enough for me, i told him i wanted the united card for flying purposes he wouldnt budge.
I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said his supervisor would say the same thing! I told him i find that highly unprofessional if i ask to speak to a supervisor for him to tell me what a supervisor would tell me....there where none available he said they would call me back i said i would call when i am available  ANY ideas????

I applied for Ink Plus yesterday, decision pending. I called Biz recon today and rep told me they were unable to process the application because my equifax is frozen. He said I need to unfreeze it and then call back. I asked if they can pull a different bureau and he said no. Does this make sense?

Yes.  They can do whatever they want as far as which report they pull.  You can try and HUCA but you may or may not get the same answer.
