PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

Just got 2 cards approved. Do you guys think I could in theory call Chase and ask to get a 3rd and have it approved without them pulling again? I got approved last week. Or will they def pull my credit again?

Whenever I have called for recon they always asked me if they were going pull credit. However, there have been people who have been pulled without the rep telling them so it s good to be safe and tell the rep before that you dont want another pull.

As a rule, they don't pull again withing 30 days. IME, even after 30 days they usually don't pull again.
(as long as you applied for all of them on the same day)

Business recon is getting really tough:

Just got off the phone with them where the first rep told me "you don't have enough revenue for another business card" and the second rep, after looking into the account said "at your level of revenue and expenses, you probably shouldn't even have one business card much less the two you already have" and told me that he looked at my spending and saw around 5X what my stated revenue was. Thankfully he told me he'd leave my two existing business cards alone for now but he offered me to call back and discuss moving them onto a personal card.

My (least) favorite line was when he said "selling on eBay isn't really a business, as pretty much everyone I know does that."

I'm pretty sure this app is dead in the water, but does anyone have tips on avoiding this mess in the future (besides making more business revenue)?

If you have another business, apply for the card under that business as opposed to the buz with cards under it already. Or cancel and transfer credit.

Which rep is easier to deal with, male or female?

I personally always had an easier time with females but I seemed to have been the only one then.

Chase 3BM for the wife:
1. Applied for Freedom, pending. Recon sent me to fraud, which asks for proof of ID, DOB and address.
2. Applied for IHG, instant approval, 5K.
3. Applied for Marriott, same as Freedom.

This is weird. Maybe it has to do with the IHG being MC and the others Visa.

I already faxed it in, but they claim it takes a few weeks to sort it out and I should stop calling.
Anyone knows what I'm looking at here? (Procedure wise and time wise)

(BTW: The reason it was flagged is probably because we started using my wife's married name. Even though, her current chase cards have already been updated and the EX report showed it too)
So I ended up faxing it to both 888-643-9628 and 888-643-9624 a bunch of times and today they said they received it.
(1 app changed from declined to pending, according to the phone message)
However, recon said that they still can't work on it. How long after verification documents have been received can you recon?

I did a 3bm and got 2 approved last night, but was told can't approve more than 2 in 30 days. Is that a hard rule or have people had succcess recently getting 3 cards approved within 30 days?

It's not a hard rule. People have had success.

I recently did a Chase 2bm for Freedom and United Visa Signature and was rejected for both because of "few revolving accounts opened long enough to establish credit history"

I called and mentioned to them that I have been an authorized user on my parents account for about 10 years. The rep said straight up that their is nothing he could do to reconsider the application based on this rejection. He said that because of my lack of history I am considered a major risk for chase. I called again and got the same response.

I was recently accepted for the the Amex EveryDay Credit Card.

Should I keep on HUCAing (I have nothing to loose), Are their any cases of ppl being successfully reconsidered with this same rejection?

Try another few times. Your chances are slim, IME, but they're there.

Made a 3BM on BA, Sapphire preferred, and freedom.
Got approved for BA, declined for the others.
No HUCAing helps as I have a limited history.
They gave me a choice to change to Sapphire preferred.
Should I change it or stay with the BA?
