Made a 3BM on BA, Sapphire preferred, and freedom.
Got approved for BA, declined for the others.
No HUCAing helps as I have a limited history.
They gave me a choice to change to Sapphire preferred.
Should I change it or stay with the BA?

In general, SP is much more valuable than the BA. Thought the spend threshold is double. Make your choice.

Why would you assume there's a better offer coming? If you don't know what do to, my advice is: Take the SP.

Tried a new trick yesterday gonna see if it works.
I told the rep I never received a letter which prompted her to resend it which will hopefully reset the clock for the 30 days which will allow me to get my 3rd app approved.
I applied for MPE, SP & MARRIOTT, MPE got instant approval SP got approved after closing off an old card, Marriott is a no go tried prob more then 5 times each & every won't even start reconsidering referencing the 2 cards 30 day rule!!!
It's getting really tough these days!
3 BM with chase is gonna be something of the past.....

Interesting idea. i'm pretty sure it will work. Since the letter will probably have today's date and it will say that you have 30 days from when the letter was sent.
Unless they just send you a copy of the previous letter with the earlier date, in which case, it probably won't work.

i wouldn't count on it its just like asking for a new copy of your last month statement

Take SP but dont give up on HUCA, even with limited history those other cards should not be that difficult to get.

What did you say when they told you can only get 2 in 30 days? Or did they not say that?

Sometimes they will ignore that if you tell them to focus on your excellent credit history with chase and you always pay on time and how each card provides diff benefits that you love...I did that once and was approved for 3 cards within a month.

Because that rep didn't care/know about the rule.
After the rep references that rule then I think there is nothing to do besides trying a different rep (aka huca) or close down one of the cards u were issued in the 30 days or wait till after the 30 days hence my new trick http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=8398.msg1005840.msg#1005840

Just a FYI, just because you get a new letter with a later date doesn't mean they won't want to pull your CR again. I've had them try to pull again claiming that the 30 days is just to keep the app active but does not mean that they don't need to pull a CR again.

But that's already a YMMV I've got them to reconsider already after 30 days without pulling the credit again, I even asked she shouldn't pull it again so she tells me why would I - I still have the old one in front of me.....

"To know weather your application is pending or declined: Call CS (1-800-432-3117) and press # (or 1, depending on the message) Press 3, then 1, then key in your SSN. If you hear: This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing of our decision, in approximately 2 weeks It's been declined. If you hear: This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing, within 7 to 10 business days, of our decision It's been declined."

If they say 2 weeks it's also declined??
So how do I know if it's accepted?  What would the message be?

Applied for BA (not me a friend) his email said will notify you within the next 10 business days and then the sapphire message he got 7 to 10 business days.

3 days ago eli f. changed them to both be declined anyone know why and whether or not that's true
