Did a 2bm for the 1st time for an ink and United card. Got instantly approved for the United but declined for the ink. I called in and answered a bunch of questions. Didn't get approved b/c I said I make around 20k and plan to make around 5-10k for the business. I offered to transfer a CL from another card but that didn't help. I'm going to HUCA and hope it gets approved. Any other things I should say?

Nothing in regards to what to say, just a heads up that you will likely get two pulls for mixing apps.

Chase biz recon could be tough. Low income amount doesn't help.

Biz cards and personal cards are treated separately. Same day doesn't make a difference in regards to the pulls. There will most likely be a pull for the personal card and another pull for your biz card.

Agreed. I know of cases where the income was what got someone declined with 50k income and that on a personal. When they called and changed it to 80k they then got approved.

He already applied so he already got the pull. May as well try to get the approval.

The rep told me they are more afraid that I spend the money and not pay EVEN if I transfer credit from a different card! Btw I wish I knew it would be 2 pulls. I have a friend that works in chase and I'm sure he could get me approved

Uchh... I'm in that dreaded "too many recent card accounts" stage with Chase. Trying to get my Ritz card through. They aren't willing to consider closing anything or moving anything.

Now that the offer is dead this recon becomes so much more important.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

How long ago did you apply?

Maybe wait a week and try again.

(Might not be the right category to post)

Currently have chase:
Freedom
Sapphire
British
United

I want to cancel the united cause of the AF that they won't waive, any recommendations what to do
Should I just have them transfer the credit line to an existing account such as sapphire or is there away to get another card such as Us Airways with out a pull having them just move the credit line?

The US Airways is from Barclays.

To get a new card a pull will always happen, but it will just be easier to get approved by moving over some credit, but as Tim T says US Airways won't won't work, but the Southwest Airlines card is from Chase.

The letter was dated Jan 19th - What was weird was the guy on the phone approved me for 5K line and then I got a rejection letter. Very weird.

I've reconned twice since then.

Maybe that you have more revenue? That you are building up your business and it will grow and that you want to keep personal and business expenses separate?

What amount is a good amount? How do I justify that explanation?
Is there any way they can validate what I'm saying or that I'm lying?
