If I don't succeed, is there a way to change a BA card to a SP card.
Are you referring to applications?

No it can't be converted . I'm not sure if you meant this but your points earned on the ba card will stay ba miles and won't be converted to chase points.

No. What I am saying is that I have about 70k UR points. But now I am stuck with no cards that can transfer to airlines. I have Freedom and BA and United cards.

Huh? I don't have a CSP or ink. I applied for the United and CSP in one MBM, the United was approved instantly, the CSP was declined. All the HUCAs so far just get me into the "too many cards in 2 years" thing with no let up.

Do you know someone that has one that you can transfer the points to? Such as a spouse.

have you tried converting your freedom card to CSP? I'm not sure if its still allowable with all the recent changes, but i did downgrade a CSP to freedom last year.

Not spouse, but someone else at same address with different last name.
Is that safe?
Even if it is, officially I would have to transfer to their ink and from there to their ff account. Somewhat of a hassle....

If Chase recon is saying no to Ink Plus due to too many cards/inquiries, is it worth trying for a different Chase card in same AOR? (Already approved for Chase Fairmont which brings to total of 4 Chase consumer cards). http://www.doctorofcredit.com/chase-credit-card-churning-the-new-reality reports that Chase is really cracking down on churning, especially on UR cards. Is it better to go for say a BA card or would that harm chances of Ink recon (already 2 x HUCA)?

Yes, already got 2 pulls, but recon and biz recon can both see that you applied for the other.

Data point:
Decided to go for BA card. Instant online approval. (This after another instant online approval earlier in day for Chase Fairmont).
Yes, I know Ink is a harder card to get approved and it's a differnt system, but both HUCA reps said that it had nothing to do with my credit or number of cards that I currently have with Chase. Simply about inquiries within past 2 years. Seems like this is the new reality, at least for UR cards.

That Dr of credit article is unsettling to say the least.

Got approved for CSP and Marriot not UMP first rep said would have to close CSP to get it approved, second rep made a sly remark about trying to call back again
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

I just got a new one today. I applied for my brother for a referral freedom card said pending review, then applied for BA instant approval 9k CL. Then called in for the freedom, rep said pulled up as denied for too many recent accounts (my own with him as authorized  User)

Early morning or late night.

Are there any numbers to call for recon that are open 24hrs. All the numbers in the wiki are from 8 till 10

I have HUCAd numerous times, different people, different times of day. The "too many accounts in the last 2 years" seems to be completely non-negotiable.
Today one guy actually started asking me questions about my income etc. so I thought I may have a chance. But in the end it was just same old story. :(
