PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

Understood, he said closing a personal card wouldn't make a difference. Do you have any recommendations/suggestions? Some on this thread say to keeping HUCA-ing and others say not to waste your time...I'm leaning towards a few more HUCA's before calling it quits, so I am reaching out to see if anyone had success using some arguments over others. I asked about changing revenue amount (due to expected business growth) on the application but he said I couldn't - that I'd need to reapply.
Its probably a waste of time. That being said, if you have time to waste, keep huca'ing and maybe you'll get lucky. Its not written in stone.

Just got off the phone. Seems that the 30 day message was because they wanted to pull EX and it was frozen. My wife got 30 day message with no freeze. So I guess 30 day message is the new "thing". No more 7-10 days or 2 weeks.
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

I have a sizable amount of UR points presently on my Freedom/Sapphire (non-preferred) cards. My wife and I have both had SP cards in the past. None at present. My wife's SP application a few months ago was declined based on 24 months. A week ago I applied for myself. Today I earned that I was rejected for the same reason. Call recon twice. No luck.  :( I have some expenses coming up which could help with the bonus and also all those points sitting in my UR account are not worth very much without their SP partner. I'm not new here. Just finally signed up. Anybody have any helpful experiences?

Thanks

All else fails, you can try to upgrade your non-preferred or freedom to CSP. At least you can use your points that way. I recently did that with my slate.

Supposedly being the key word. YMMV.

I believe so. You may need to have had the card for a year--could be completely wrong. I had my slate for about 2 years when I upgraded to full CSP.

Was that upgrade a hard pull?
