To fax in verification documents:
#1: 888-643-9624
#2: 888-643-9628
#3: 201-328-3289 (according to a rep from this dept, it's quicker than the other listed numbers)

Chase CS #: 1-800-432-3117

To know whether your application is pending or declined:
Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)
Press 4, then 1, then key in your SSN.
If you hear:
This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing of our decision, in approximately 2 weeks
It's pending.
If you hear:
This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing, within 7 to 10 business days, of our decision
It's been declined.

Business cards application status: call 800-453-9719.

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

Just applied for IP and got:

"Thanks for Applying. Please call us as soon as possible at 1-800-243-6010 Mon-Fri 8am to 10pm EST to discuss your application with a Customer Support Specialist. We look forward to speaking with you."

I get the impression that the consensus here, is that with Chase biz it's better to wait rather than call.
Is that only when you get a "pending" message, or even for the above message?
(Seem to recall someone here saying that they chatted/SMed with Chase after such a message and were successful, but can't find it).

My app does violate the 5/24 rule, but I was told here that for the time being that does not apply to biz cards. Were I to be approved, it would be my first time being successful on a biz app. I applied under a sole proprietor.
So do I wait it out? Call? Chat?

Also, if I now apply for an Amex biz, will that effect my chances of getting approved for the IP?

TIA

ETA: Just saw the email from them:
Thank you for submitting a credit card application to Chase.

Here's what you can expect next:

We'll let you know of our decision through U.S. mail within the next 30 days. Please don't resubmit this application while waiting for our decision.

If we approve your application, we'll send your card and other important information to you by U.S
mail. Once you receive your card, call the number on the sticker right away so you can take advantage of everything your card has to offer.

If we don't approve your application, we'll send you a letter explaining why.

Thank you for applying for a Chase credit card

Usually that number Is a good sign. I'd call in. They usually want to verify your info( more like a security thing) I'm 3/3 with calling after getting that message.

Based on my experience I would say that either way should work.
I don't sin, I give myself opportunities to repent.

I have 2 weeks msg for chase SW biz, when I spoke to recon about the personal (which they approved after moving CL) they asked if I would like to be transferred to biz rep for verification questions to approve the biz card.  I prefer to avoid biz interrogations, do I have to spk to them or will I get approved if I wait it out?

Called and approved. BH!
Thank you guys.
Should I try United biz now? or is that pushing my luck for a first time biz credit?
Also, should I go for an Amex biz today? Which one(s?)?

Isn't that the while idea of AOR, applying for multiple lines of credit on the same day from different banks so that the hp from one didn't effect the other?
What am I missing?

You are missing the fact that that isn't the case. Only reason is for keeping it all nice and organized.
