Were you over 5/24 before Ba and marriot? And were you approved instantly?

I got denied for ink recon- were going to approve went for 2nd approval and denied, to many recent apps and to much credit-  If I cancel some personal credit, any chance I could get them approve the ink then?  I figure, if I wont be able to apply for more cards past april, I don't really need that much credit lying around

How did you find out that you were denied? Letter in the mail or you called for a status update?

Current consensus to lower CL's with Chase before applying for co-branded or a certain range to be in?

Planning on applying for a second ink plus and a United biz. I'm way past 5/24 but was previously able to barely get approved by shifting cl via recon. My question is should I cut my cl on my ink plus in order to increase my chances of getting approved for the United biz and second ink plus?

When requesting to lower the CL and it getting approved, how fast does it go into effect?

IME immediately.

Thanks.

This is Chase's new way. They approve you for a co-brand with such a large CL that there is no way your second app will go through without having to call them. Once you call, they'll deny you for 5/24.

On another note, is a Biz CL with Chase considered part of your CL or completely separate when it comes to overall CL with them?

My question is specific to applying for a personal card and seeing how much "overall CL" I have with them. Will they look at Biz+personal CL combined or only at my personal CL for that?

Don't see why he would lie about it. On that note, that was not the answer I was hoping for.

I was on a recon call trying to get the ba card approved and they told me they had already extended me their max amount of credit and he said he included the business ccs as well. He could have just been saying that as an excuse to decline the app (ended up getting it approved by shifting over some credit from another card)

So now that I got the 7-10 day message upon applying, is the current consensus to call or let it be? What if I want to apply for a second card today as well?

7-10 means declined so if you don't call you won't get it...
