They might be closed by then :)

I called recon for united and ba. I think they figured 3BM. The first question they asked was "did you apply for 3 cards at the same time?".
Do you think it's possible to make them reconsider? If yes, can you suggest talking points?

Thank you

What did you say and how was it left?  You should be able to get 2 out of them fairly easily.  The third is a tough shmooze...

That you plan on using both of those airlines a lot in the near future because they fly out of your home airport and you expect to do lots of travel in the near future to do business etc.

the guy said that at this point we cannot offer BA and United. I tried to explain that I have plans for travel, and that BA has good US routes. They have their "special" dept review freedom (3rd card I applied)

It's good to call with a ref# focusing on 1 card at a time.

You do realize that without knowing your past credit history (with chase and in general) there's no straight answer to these kinds of questions.

I have, baruch hashem, been churning cards for years.
1) Chase is getting much more difficult.
2) I just applied for ba and united, and it asked me to call (first time, usually just approved or pending) and after calling they said they are recommending an approval, but some info needs to be verified, and there is no phone number to that department.
Any have that happen to them?
Does that mean just wait and I will be approved?
Thanks
