PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

That's possible but 7-10 means declined, and that's why there is reconsideration.
Without reconsideration.

what's the point in calling the automated line if either way you're gonna recon?
It's not either way if it says 2 weeks then you don't have to call, wait it out your probably going to get approved, no need to answer all the reps questions.

so pending means 'we didn't approve you yet'?
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

I just did a 2bm with umpe and freedom and the freedom came in as a duplicate. I called recon they said I need to call verification who are closed now. any advice? Will I get a hard pull if I call tomorrow? When I called cs, for the first card it said 7-10 days (apparently that means denied) and 2 weeks for the second.

I called today got the United card approved. It turns out the freedom was not a duplicate just denied for too many credit requests. I offered to shift credit from my sw card and close it but they said no cause I didn't pay the af yet. Is that right? I can't shift credit until I pay af? I'm assuming if I do pay it I'll get refunded since it's within 60 days right?

They also mentioned adding an au is an automatic trigger for a review but has anyone got an instant approval with an au?

Correct they have to review the application.
So if they still might decide to deny, then it's a good idea to recon.

I just applied for an INK card and they are asking me for proof of Biz at the address which i dont have. She looked up the biz in the secretary of state's list and told me that since im not on the list i need to send in utility bill/lease agreement/etc. I've never had this happen other times that Ive applied. Is there anyway to get around this? HUCA?

Update 10 sec later: I Asked her to switch the biz address to my home address which doesnt have the docs either and she let it go through!

I did a 2bm for chase business cards, one of the 2 applications is probably denied(according to the automated voice line) is it possible to know which card it is?
I'm approved for the less preferred one for me.... Is it possible to ask chase to change the approval for the one i'm rejected.?
Or just HUCA to get approved for the other one?

Rep. approved the 2nd bz card as well. but I had to transfer/lower some credit from my consumers card for that! Will it hurt my credit?

Not per-se but you'll have less available in your utilization ratio

There will be a smaller CL being reported. Won't make much of a difference, especially if you have other cards.
