Lots of international stores only take Visa.

Hmm... I already have the Sapphire Visa. Is there any benefits to the MP Visa over the Sapphire Visa?

In the past with chase I have just played dumb when they asked why I needed so many cards so quickly. I said "oooooh yah I just need the miles to go in for an old friends wedding who lives in australia... I had no clue that its so bad to open all these cards. whooooops." That worked at least twice and they opened the cards for me

about a month ago i got denied for the chase freedom card. i called to recon but they said i dint have enough credit history, then i called again now (a month later) and they said even though i had a CC for 8 months (its the first one i did) its still not enough and i pay t all on time etc...they also said if i try reapplying and i get denied then its not good for my credit history.
can anyone advise me, what would be a good second CC to apply for when i only had a CC (Cap one journey) for a little under a year? i looked all over DDF but there are so many cards going on here - idk where to start!
thanx

Lots of international stores only take Visa.
In Italy I found almost every place that took CC accepted Amex. In London, almost no one. Even official attractions. I asked one of the attendants "Don't you think it's time establishments in London join the 21st century and start accepting Amex? Why is England still a third world country? It's great here in the 21st century, we have internet and all sorts of cool things"

Family Dollar/Dollar Tree/Deals only take Visa here.  They won't take MC.
(Hint: AMEX does work if you just slide it and don't ask.  MC actually won't work though)

Not one vendor in DMV will accept amex.

After getting a Sapphire and Hyatt approved (Via getting rid of my Freedom and BA, and raising my CL to 11.000 on the way), I reached a wall with my continental App.

Does anyone know if Chase keeps a record of every phone call? After my first continental rejection (where they thanked me only for being on hold...) I called again and was told by the rep: "YOU JUST CALLED T-O-D-A-Y-!!! Yes, she said it in capital.

I tried to explain to her that I have a huge salary, I always pay on time, I am only asking for one more CC than I had earlier as I have another 3000 dollar to my CL, but with no success. I am afraid to call again as they might... I don't know.

Whatta you think???

Personally when they tell me no, I don't push it. I just politely thank them, rinse and repeat.

Quote from: Wikipedia
Lather, rinse, repeat is a phrase that is a common part of the instructions on shampoo bottles. It is sometimes also used as a humorous way of saying that a certain set of instructions should be repeated until an explicit or implicit goal is reached
