You could always call

For some reason had always thought SM decisions were "final".  Thanks for the advice.  Called today about waiving the AF to match the in-branch offer and got it waived (they actually apologized that it was charged at all, unlike the SM person who said "in branch and online offers are different, sorry").

Thanks again!

Sure. The only thing "final" is when they shut you down.

Is SM the "final" method of recon (even for non-denial related issues, e.g. I SM'd to match no AF in branch for Ink signup and request declined

No
Will it hurt my chances of getting auto approved if denied for CSP?

Has anyone here have any luck by getting approved by getting your local chase branch to send in a reconsideration form?

Called to reconsider for a business card, got a alert that they pulled my credit again without asking...
Were they legally allowed to?

I'm actually in the process right now I did 4 years for my wife and get 10k limit but now I'm trying for myself back told me that would recommend doing a freedom card or slate because points cards are harder to get approved because need starting balance of higher amounts.

Good luck . I have called back more than a week after an APPO and got a Chase card approved . Make sure they don't do another pull .
yes another successful recon. After the rep said she saw I called Multiple  times without success I explained why I needed the card and offered ( as I did with the other reps but to no avail) to close a card and transfer the CL to which she agreed.
Sometimes you run into a brick wall. It happens .
And even then sometimes a brick wall can have a crack in it. Just gotta find it ;)

I applied for the chase sapphire and was denied because i had too many cards.
I only have 2 chase cards and do not have many other cards.
I called and was told that I have 16 cards, most are authorized users.
I tried a few times and they wont budge. Should I close all the amex au's? I dont want to lose the amex benefits that might show up this year (like the amex checkout).

Ask to speak to a manager, and ask him to reconsider as none of the accounts are yours.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.
