PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

Is the rejection and all the answers that I gave in the notes? Also, when you called again, did you just say that you wanted to talk about it with them more and see if anything can be done or you made like you weren't aware of the decision?
I'm not sure if it was notes, I always assume yes when I call... but I was asked the exact same questions. On HUCA2 I proactively said "I was declined before, but I am calling back because I wanted to offer to close an old Ink Bold in order to open the 2 new cards (ink plus and UMPE biz) and see if that can help." I had offered the same thing on HUCA1 but I acted like it was a new offer.

I think I just got a nice rep vs a cranky rep before.

He didn't say.

Problem is I don't have any other cards to offer to close. I closed my last Ink two months ago because I couldn't get them to waive the AF.

I had an ink pending, I got message to call in- I called in and sounded like they were going to approve but it had to go to 2nd review, it went and was there for almost 2 weeks and they declined me. Anything to do here? They made it sound like once its been in 2nd review there is nothing to do, like a CSP 5/24 decline, anyone get an approval after the "2nd review"?

Just HUCA'd again after calling in this morning and getting denied. Landed on a nice guy who let me re-explain the business etc. He put me on hold several times and eventually told me that he's submitting it for another review to a "higher department" because he doesn't have the authorization to approve it, and that I'll get a decision within 1-2 weeks. Just gotta sit and wait, right? Any indication of what my chances are like? Rep said that everything looks good and checks out on his end, so there's a good chance I'm approved, but obviously DROPR.

Can u get auto approved by the system even if you have gotten 5/24 ? Basically does the computer calculate the number if cards at the time of the application or just the reps bring up this issue by reconsideration ?

Stock market in the toilet and getting harder and harder to churn.

Dawn of the age of poop indeed.

Well on the plus side, this Chase news got me off my butt and to try one more time getting my 2nd Chase card approved from a month ago after being shot down a whole bunch of times, and I got it approved today by moving credit around. Extra Southwest 50K, cant complain.

So 2 days ago I applied for the IP and was approved. First time getting approved for biz line of credit. I then applied for United biz and was pending. Today I called recon and the 7-10 day language. So I called recon and she literally grilled me for over half an hour!!!  >:(
First it was that I just got 19.5k credit on the IP. So I said that i'm happy to split that. So she tells me to wait on hold for 2-4 min. She comes back with the 5/24 rule!! (I said "hello, that doesn't go into effect for biz cards till March!! Just kidding). So I told her that at least 5 of my accounts in the past 2yrs are AUs for family members. She puts me on hold for 2-4 min again and comes back BRUTALLY INTERROGATING me on EVERY ASPECT of my income, monthly living, employment, business, financial history, etc etc.
Then she puts me on hold again for 2-4 min, then comes back and another 2-4 min. Then she comes back saying that because I don't have any biz credit history with them and my total line of credit with them is such a high percentage of my annual income she can't approve any more cards. I asked about moving credit etc. The fact that I have a lot of money in my chase checking and that I have never come a day late on any payments with them. Nada.

What now? Any point HUCA? This was brutal. If yes, will the next rep see my notes?

For one it seems like 5/24 for biz is already in effect at least somewhat. I had intended to try and clear AUs off my CRs and then apply for CSP in the next week or two. I get the feeling that that may be a bit of a futile exercise at this point.  :(

That was brutal, but also typical. We all take our lumps. Take a deep breath and HUCA again.
