To fax in verification documents:
#1: 888-643-9624
#2: 888-643-9628
#3: 201-328-3289 (according to a rep from this dept, it's quicker than the other listed numbers)

Chase CS #: 1-800-432-3117

To know whether your application is pending or declined:
Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)
Press 3, then 1, then key in your SSN.

This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing of our decision, in approximately 2 weeks
It's pending.
If you hear:
This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing, within 7 to 10 business days, of our decision
It's been declined.

Business cards application status: call 800-453-9719.

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

What does the 30 day response mean?
BUMP. That's the response I got online after applying. Anyone know what that means? I didn't get any email about the app.

With business cards you can explain easier why you need different cards.. different businesses/charges etc.
Personal cards are harder.. Also IME you need lots of luck. If 1 or 2 reps are in a pissy mood the next reps look into the notes.. I have once reconed 17 times.. didnt get approved in the end.. I gave up after 17 tries.. was already meshuga
Most of my cards are personal, and that's what their grilling me on.

British and Marriott.

I think his name was Michael, he tells me "I see you had the same British card 2 years ago, I'm just wondering why you would be needing this card again, is it for the points?"
I had a brutal Michael in biz recon yesterday.

Also if it's after two years, and you're eligible for the bonus, that statement about points shouldn't be relevant! It would be like applying for any card with any rewards currency.

Michael was so "helpful" to withdraw my British application so I can work on just getting my Marriott approved - anyone have experience getting a withdrawn application approved, or is it another pull?

Will your idea of applying getting a huge CL, and then calling to lower it and applying for the next card, will that work if I was denied for ink already? meaning, if I was denied for ink and now lower my personal CL, any chance to get them to reconsider, or do I have to lower CL and then apply again?
I can't speak from experience from your situation but I did it pre-application.
So, I have reconed multiple times for an ink after lowering personal CL and no dice- to many cards opened within the last year- I think they are more hesitant to approve me because it went to final approval and they denied it, I think I will just apply again and see what happens (initially, it wont have the final approval issue). thoughts?

Applied for 3 chase biz cards today in this order. Ink plus, United explorer, Marriott. All 3 went pending right away and I am way over 5/24. I called the status line and I originally got the 7-10 day message for the ink and the 2 week message for the other 2 but when I called back a second time the United also switched to 7-10. I have read that 7-10 usually means declined and 2 weeks usually means approved. Any body have the status change and still get it approved without recon? Thoughts?

5/24 shouldn't be an issue yet for any of them.

Does chase ever easily give Ink cards for sole proprietor businesses with $0 reported past income from the business?

They closed the phones at 5 because of the huge volume of applications they were dealing with.

That's what a specialist I got through to told me last night.

They're young. She has one joint with her husband from 18 months ago. Most recent was Freedom in December. Fako score 723 and 710. His is a little over 700. They got a mortgage last year. They want  to do miles, so it's more doable for her to visit family In SA.

Why doesn't she use his income on the application ?
