If an application goes  for a higher level review but  the first representative who reviewed the application said that she recommended for an approval, what are my chances?
I had that with an ink card, a few months ago and it was declined

I applied for hyatt for DW a few weeks ago and it said pending, called recon and they said no new credit, but would shift credit over, I said great. afterwards, I applied for Ritz, never called and over Pesach, the package came with a 14k limit! now DW has 8 chase cards and a .56 credit to income ratio

and i send it back for review and was approved. though the reason i was declined was that i have too much credit and they refuse to consolidate so i closed two cards that i had AF coming up anyway.

I applied for two cards on April 14, and I've been getting the two week message ever since. Is this a normal amount of time to still be pending?

What was the reason to it?
usual, to much credit, to many recent apps etc...

and i send it back for review and was approved. though the reason i was declined was that i have too much credit and they refuse to consolidate so i closed two cards that i had AF coming up anyway.
that's interesting, because I did not close a card but removed 10k of CL and they refused to take that into account, so then I just waited a week or 2 and then applied again and got it approved!

To open a new card, the rep made me close one card, she would not just move credit over, I told her my Ihg card, but now I want to close my united card, my new card has to be verified by fraud Dept. Any way to reverse it and close my united now and keep my Ihg open, or is it a done deal?

Applied for Freedom Unlimited and was told app was declined due to 5/24. Am I dead in the water or is there any way to get it approved?

When I call in to check the status of my application, i get "we're sorry, the information entered does not match our records", but i did get an email from them saying that they will let me know by mail in 30 days.
Is there any other way to check the status?

Applied for Ink got the usual "This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing, within 7 to 10 business days, of our decision" So I called them and after they putting me on hold for some 10 minutes to review my account they asked me if Im willing to move credit over, then a few minutes later apologized because they cant move from personal to business.
Bottom line, they told me that my account will be sent to a different department for further review and I should hear back in 7-10 business days.....is that a bad sign?

I called yesterday..." we see from the notes that yesterday you where recommended by our dept however because you need more credit it has been referred to the lending department and is out of our control". I asked them for the number so I can call (or connect me) them and they told me I cant.

Does anyone have an update on Chase Business INK card if it is already subject to 5/24 rule yet?
When do cobranded cards get hit with 5/24?
Thank you!
