Chase Fraud # 2: 1-800-278-8830
(If you have a fraud alert on your account, recon will instantly transfer you here for verification, so you might as well call directly)

To fax in verification documents:
#1: 888-643-9624
#2: 888-643-9628
#3: 201-328-3289 (according to a rep from this dept, it's quicker than the other listed numbers)

Chase CS #: 1-800-432-3117

To know whether your application is pending or declined:
Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)
Press 3, then 1, then key in your SSN.
If you hear:
This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing of our decision, in approximately 2 weeks
It's pending.
If you hear:
This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing, within 7 to 10 business days, of our decision
It's been declined.

Business cards application status: call 800-453-9719.

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

Really weird recon experience of being put on hold several times and asked all sorts of questions in between. In the end the rep just said it needs to be referred to a higher level for evaluation and I'll find out the results in the mail.

Granted I have only done recon like 50 times in my life so my experience is limited but this was weird. I feel like I should empty out all UR accounts at this address. Am I being paranoid?
Freddie, I was approved and was actually asked a lot of questions when I called: employment, profit/loss, future profit/loss, placed on hold for a while, and then 'I recommended an approval for you, a senior rep. Will review... " don't freak out yet, just keep on calling the Chase status app line to see if there is any update...

Huca'd x3 went from 7-10 (denial) to 2 weeks (pending) on the 4th Huca they tell me it's in the system right now and can't be touched within 24 hours it should be released with a decision and only then an analyst can access it and if denied be reconsidered... any point in calling again or just wait 24 hours?

Anyone know if a United cc invite (sent by united not chase) would circumvent 5/24? Or do only chase prescreened offers work for that?

Highly unlikely a United marketing email circumvents 5/24.

You'll be notified in 30 days?! That's what the automated response said when I called in to check ap status.
Isn't it usually two weeks?

Recon approved my app today. But no emails yet.  Any reason for concern?

You never get approval email when recon approves app. You'll get welcome email about 5 days later. If card shows up online you're good.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Tried my luck applied for my first CC the CSR, as you could imagine I was denied, after giving it some thought I called recon and was told that I don't even stand a chance getting this card as the min credit a month is 10K.
10 seconds later called again, after being on hold 2 times and a little bit convincing I was approved on the spot. the whole call was 10 min.
DON'T GIVE UP HUCA HUCA AND HUCA AGAIN TILL THEY APPROVE YOU

My SO applied for CSR last week in a local chase branch and got the 5-7 days. We got a letter saying she was not approved because of to many credit lines opened. She has 1 card with a 500$ limit, and is an AU on like 5 other cards, 3 of the 5 other cards are mine, including a CSP with a 10k + limit. We called the reconsideration line today, and talked to someone who was really annoyed that I was talking to them with my SO instead of just my SO talking, and we explained that my wife only had the 1 CC and the others were AU, she kept asking what lines my SO was "responsible" for, and we explained that I work and make over 50k, but she is at home, so it is shared income... admittedly we did not have great answers because I was not sure if my SO was "responsible" for my cards that she is an AU on.. But as I am sure you can guess, the reconsideration lady said she could not approve a 10 k card  for my wife. Honestly the reconsideration lady was rather rude, and it has left my wife not wanting to call the line again. Sorry for the long story, but my question is do you think there is any hope for a reconsideration? I was hoping there was since my SO is really at 1/24 , and only looks to be 6/24 because of her AU accounts. Any suggestions?

If you don't try the answer is for sure no.
I have tried, and I called them, and they said that I have too many cards open...
is there anything to tell them for a chance of approval?

I think u shud quote OP, but anyway they have on record what u said ur responsible for on the previous call, so make sure u have a story about why ur story isn't straight. Lol
