I helped my friend apply for both Chase Freedom and Chase Unlimited using 2BM. He has been an AU under amex for about 6 months, and has a credit report at about 750 with very little history. Both were declined because of lack of credit history. I called recon and asked just to reconsider the Freedom and they declined again for same reason. Will HUCA help? Would there be any reason for them to change decision? Also is it bad to reconsider multiple times?

If I have to call recon for a non-5/24 card, can I bring up a 5/24 card that's still pending (7-10 days) on the same call, or will that hurt my chances for the first one?

Do them one at a time but do the 5/24 cards first.

You have almost zero chance of getting any 5/24 cards but you might as well try them first.

Recon said they would recommend me for approval, I just need to call the verification department. I had been denied due to 5/24, but without au I'm at 4/24.

Can I now lump in any more cards before calling verification, or on the same day? (I know there'll be a new pull)

Really weird recon experience of being put on hold several times and asked all sorts of questions in between. In the end the rep just said it needs to be referred to a higher level for evaluation and I'll find out the results in the mail.

Granted I have only done recon like 50 times in my life so my experience is limited but this was weird. I feel like I should empty out all UR accounts at this address. Am I being paranoid?

I guess that weird conversation with that other rep a few days ago ended with an approval.

Applied DW for CSR and CSP on 01/01 both denied becuase 5/24. Called recon told them DW is au on 2cc which puts her at 3/24 rep reviewed the app and said DW isnt established enough to have a 10k CL any point in HUCA? Or can they see it went for review already and denied?

Update: I called recon twice and each time they said no because of lack of credit history. Should I just give up or can HUCA help for that? It seems like a basic denial to me.
