Let's get back into topic guys:
Called first about CO and she kept on saying I had too much new credit with Chase in the past 12 months (BA and IB)

Is that the one from your 3BM?

Yes, but on my wife's name. She doesn't have this issue.
For myself on the other hand, I will be calling one of these days about my CONTINENTAL card and see if I can slip by...

Good luck. I've called numerous times in the last few days to try and get my SP through with no luck. They all give me the same "Max of 2 cards in 30 days" shpiel.

Has anyone had luck in the last couple of weeks to get 3 cards approved within 30 days?

Have you tried calling the automated application status number?

So basically, because the agent didn't see that the CO was approved (if it was), he pushed through the SP. Does that mean, that the only way to get a third card approved is to try before the second shows on the system as approved?

I haven't, Don't have the number...
I was told though, that I am approved both times.
Again my only concern is that when I called to push SP through, the rep. moved part of the cl from a card (BA) that was already closed and converted into a different card (CO).
As I wrote yesterday, I can already see my BA cl cut in half and account closed..

The CO was forsure approved, closed down the BA and converted. But I'm scared that my 2nd phonecall which took place within a minute of the fist might have messed up what I accomplished in the 1st and maybe even messed up my 2nd too...

They have a 2-per-month limit which you have to somehow circumvent, or find a recon agent that isn't enforcing it.

I clicked on the post you linked to and understood the situation the first time, that's why I'm asking what the automated spp status system is saying for your cards. Here's the number:

Chase: 800-432-3117 (Application status)

Just called. "There are no applications on file in the past 30 days for the SSN entered" was the response.
Inaccurate? Cuz I did get the IB..

Did 3bm for SP UA and Hyatt.

SP - instant approval
Hyatt - pushed through by transferring credit (closing) from open CO
UA - don't want to approve because already approved 2 within 30 days

I tried explaining that one wasn't new, it was merely transferring credit from an existing account. No go.

I'm a little lost here. Just to clear things up-

You applied for CO, SP & IB.
You were approved for IB.
You called about CO and moved closed BA in order to push through CO.
You then called about SP and CSR moved CL from (closed) BA without mentioning 2 app/30 day rule.

Am I correct?

Is this the end of 3BM? Or is it just very YMMV?

Actually I just realized it might have been more than 30 days since I did the 3BM, although their letters went out on Dec 11.
Any other way to find out without talking to a human?

100% correct.
And then I logged into my Chase and saw that BA shows as closed and cl cut in half.

Methinks it's still possible, but perhaps it shouldn't be recommended to the faint of heart. Note that we're only talking about Chase, and AFAIK it still works with Citi/Amex (with the usual YMMV disclaimer for 2/3BMs).

Actually I just realized it might have been more than 30 days since I did the 3BM, although their letters went out on Dec 11.

It must be 30 days, otherwise it'd tell you they're pending. I don't think there's a way to find out, besides for monitoring your mailbox and seeing what goodies the postman brings :)

3BMs are always YMMV.  They take persistence, convincing arguments, and calling the various different recon numbers.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
