Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)

PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

is it possible that the system totally canceled out one app w/o even given it a chance to be reviewed, and recon wouldn't even help, and I'll just have to apply all over again??

Did you apply for two apps in the same browser? If yes, it's possible.

This time in English please? :P

Seriously, with two browsers and apps for different crds I'd say that's unusual for Chase, but I wouldn't say it's impossible. Either way, you should be able to recon.

Perhaps to get the app number if they don't have it? Folks don't like asking the rep to look it up by ssn since it draws attention to the fact there are muliple apps
CMIIW, but I think t's a right theory, if they look up your app by the appid then the rep sees only the app associated with this appid, resulting in the recon rep to wanna pull another CR, if done through 2/3bm because the rep sees Theres no pull for that app,
whereas if they look it up by your ssn then you might argue to them that a pull wad maid and no need for another one, since they see both apps on your ssn
maybe that explains why some ddfers report that the recon rep did another pull vs other ddfers report otherwise::)

1. They typically pull all your CRs at the time of application, and see what was already pulled by recon.
2. IMHO they used to typically only see one app when you called with an appID, but in the past six months they sometimes ask about other recent applications.

1)so Theres no obvious reason why sometimes recon pulls another and sometimes not?
2)asking about other apps doesn't mean you have to admit, unless the see it neway by giving them the ssn

1. They don't typically do another pull, unless there was something wrong from the info at the time of the application that they couldn't pull credit (e.g. wrong address) or the report they tried to pull was frozen.
2. You don't have to admit, but (sometimes?) they see it on their screen, so good luck denying it.

SOOO DISAPPOINTED!
did a 2bm Chase SP+CO OPP eventough I have a high credit score with long history I wasn't instantly approved, both pending
please help me with those 2 q.
1)is there still a chance I should receive a letter that both are approved although it wasn't instantly or I'll definitely have to argue it out with reconsideration?
2) currently my CR shows only 1pull,
if I'll have to go through reconsideration does it mean the lender will pull again or not necessarily?

please help its the 1St time starting to churn and already sucha disappointment
UPDATE jan/28 i'v been approved for the SPP [no letter just shows online] with 10k limit,
CO OPP still says 7/10 days
weird I would think they'd rather approve the CO OPP

Is there any way of getting approved for a card that they say they are not willing to give you more credit?
(meaning i did a 3bm and they split an old cl to approve 2 of my cards saying we cant allow you more credit is there a chance i can still get the 3rd approved?)
TIA!

I keep calling recon for my 3rd card and they say they cant approve so many (a 3rd card) within 30 days.

But what they did tell me was, i was able to close one of my existing accounts (the first 2 of a 3bm) and get the new one approved.

Is it possible to wait for one of my (2 weeks old) cards to post its miles then transfer the cl to get the new one approved? or by that time the application of my 3rd card will fall of? or will i lose my milles?

Tia! really appreciate it!

anything is possible if you keep persistent , just reapply in a few months after you get your points from the new cc and transfer CL

I was declined for the Saphire since there is something past due or delinqunet in my credit history, would calling chase reconsidiration help with getting it approved or its a lost cause till I clear up the Credit Report?

(the past due in my Credit Report is most probably a mistake which I will have to get off my report)
It is all from Hashem and he will continue to give!

On the fourth call (this one to the credit analysis #) they approved my Sapphire. To do this, I needed to agree to lower the limit on my old United account to 1k. Interestingly, she said she couldn't close it b/c I currently have a balance on it (from my annual fee coming due). So now I am the proud owner of 2 SW cards (1 personal, 1 biz), a Sapphire, and a United.
Now I need to call up about the AARP card in order to go 2 for 2 in this round.
