Thanks all for the info... I dont know how to check how many pulls chase did.. I was fine with two pulls .. so bottom line is i need to call and speak to a rep to ask about status? is that the consensus? or just reapply for the personal ?

You can't count on that happening when deciding on what you're applying for. Also, one extra pull is relatively meaningless.

It seem like it only happened  once. No other comments or DP that suggest it happened to anyone else.

Yes, but it doesn't hurt to try, again if a personal app didn't go through when you already applied for a business card, should you apply again that day instead of the next day, hoping that you won't get another pull, I still stand with - yes.

You can check Credit Karma and see how many pulls were applied that day. You can call and reference this application too, and see if they have any record of it. Assuming they don't, just reapply, given that you don't mind the pull.

Along the east coast chase tends to pull experian, many other places as well, so CK won't help.

So use a different service. My point was to check for a pull, makes no difference how it's done.

I was just pointing out that you may have to check 3 bureaus, especially since people have had personal and business apps pulled from different bureaus. Specifically with chase.

Seems like recon won't approve two sapphire products even when done on the same day. Unless you can get auto approval, it may be tough getting both.

Interesting DP: I had an application have the 2 week message for a week, while a decline letter came today, the AS still says 2 weeks.

It was declined, but what's interesting is that 2 weeks isn't certain pending still.

Hi, I applied for CSP 5 days ago, but when I call in to hear the status of my app, it says 'its being reviewed, you'l be notified in aprox. 2 weeks'. Bus so far I don't see a pull on my score (checked on CK). What does this mean?
(I applied and got approved for the Ink preferred less then 30 days ago, any connection?)

1. You check your report not score.
2. Chase commonly pulls Experian, so you wouldn't see that on CK.
And yes 2 weeks means it's still pending. (generally)

I had an IP that was frozen due to suspected fraud (manually keyed in card for a large purchase) and was frozen during my 3 month spend window. it was frozen for close to 2 weeks while they "reviewed" and every time I called they told me they couldn't do much. I eventually escalated it, and told them I didn't want any of their BS, and needed my damn card activated. I managed to get them to make a not that they would extend my spend date by however long the card was frozen for. If you have a semi legitimate reason that they are responsible for your incomplete spending, you may have a fighting chance. If that is not the case, I'd say you probably don't. HUCA is always worth a shot or 12.

It's put through the AS, usually a good sign
