Chase Reconsideration

Hey all , I applied yesterday for the ink preferred and ink cash  via 2bm, both applications were turned down , called reconsideration, rep. Said it was turn down bcs of 2 cards applied 1 after the other... however he offered to reconsider the application, after being on hold for 40 minutes , he said that because I have a large amount of credit line with chase, he will have to escalate it.
Shifting credit wouldn't work , as I have no business card with them.
Anyone knows from experience if escalation department are in favor to approve or decline?

Update: chase ink preferred was approved after being forwarded for further review.
After getting approved I called recon for the ink cash app. After 30 min that application was forward as well for further review. But upon checking now , it was declined .
Is there still any chanes to get it approved by calling recon again  after being declined by escalation department?

Ok, technically there is potential harm with chase at all times, but once you're already calling recon, might as well give it another try.

That's what I was afraid of.
And question is if there is still any chances once it was declined at a higher power.

I personally will not try again . I would not have applied to 2 Chase business cards at the same time, they are becoming real strict,better to try again in a few months, but who knows, you might be lucky with another HUCA.

I thought that a 2bm or more can't hurt

Whats the general recommendation with how long is good to wait when cancelling a card and before opening it up again?

I was declined for having the product within 24 months. How does chase count the 24 months - from the day the reward was issued or statement close of when it was issued? There's like a 3 week difference for me.

How is recon for Ink nowadays? I haven't applied for a biz card for a while and last time i did they were quite tough. Did they loosen up a bit?

Don't worry so much!! I would recommend applying for only 1 Ink (preferred) as opposed to 2... Just apply, and take it from there... I applied for Ink for myself and DH, both had 30 days pending... 24 hrs. later, both approved without any recon conversation!! Don't jump to call to speak to recon, let it play itself out. Thanks but that doesn't answer the question.

You can transfer credit between cards as long as they're both biz, or both personal. The question is, will they actually do it for you? You never know.

I applied for the ink card and was declined because I made a few late payments(a few days late) to a few of my cards with chase is there anyway to fix it with them as I want to have them reconsider me for the card and also how long would it take?
