Interesting.
Did a 2bm personal and 1 biz last week.
Pushed through the Freedom last week.
Spoke to cs now about the UA, and she gave it to me with a reduction of the SP CL to 10k from 15k.
She then transferred me to the biz reconsideration for my SW app. After many questions, he said he could close the SW personal card to open this one. I requested him to not close it, but to lower my SP cl. He lowered it from 15k (!!) to 7 or so, and gave me 8k for the SW.
Interesting that their computers hadn't processed the first lowering of the CL. I thought he would see that when he put me on hold, and that I would have to explain another cc.

And IMO, I would rather have a female rep than a male.

i applied for UA MPE 60K offer a few weeks ago and they sent me a letter saying that in order to get approved i have to show proof of income i.e. Most recent Pay stubs tax returns etc.. Now i dont have any official income on the papers and no way of getting any of that stuff, besides it probably also means that chase wont accept me for any other CC until i show them proof of income.
is there any way of getting around it with out showing it or is there anything to ask chase reconsideration to do?

i havent seen anywhere else discuusing this issue, if theres a thread about it plz share.

So they asked me from where I want to take the $5k credit to get the hyatt open, I told them they can close my BA card, which had a credit line of 5k. However they gave me a credit line of 12k. So I'm confused why they needed to take 5k in first place?

If I was originally denied and I received my letters but got apps approved trough recon, can I still get my free credit report for being denied credit?

Yes. And IME you can get them even if you're instantly approved, since the credit bureau have no idea weather your financial institution eventually approved you or not, so they give them free for anyone who had an hard inquiry in the past 60 days.

ETA: With EX once you get a report number you can then use that number any time to get another report. Just start a new dispute with that report number. I would not do it more than once a month.

Sometime you see it on the letter you receive along with the card, and if not, just give them a call.
