Had an interesting conversation for INK card. They did not like that I was only doing partial payments indicating that I'm in a credit crunch. They approved me when I explained to them that the partial payments are due to me cycling credit and I actually pay the total amount every month hence the need for a new credit line.

But dont they hate credit cycling?
I'm not who you think I am.

Just got off the phone with Chase Business Recon re: SW Business card. Was denied saying I had 5/24, but 2 of them were as authorized user. Guy told me it didn't matter "it's 5 cards that you're associated with, so that includes auth user".
I tried to explain to him that 5/24 is accounts you're responsible to pay for, not auth user, but he just repeated his statement.
Is this a new policy?

Applied for the Chase Ink Business.
Phone message says 30 days.
Upon calling, initially they asked lots of question, now they said its in a secondary lender review and to wait 24-48 hours (been about 5-6 days).
What should I expect?

I love DDF lol. This is so helpful.
So do I.
I was surprised I didn't get approved automatically, because I haven't opened a Chase card in a while.  So I called.
The rep must be reading this thread, LOL.
She asked me if I'm responsible for the accounts that I'm an AU of.  Then she told me that to open the card they'd move over credit from my other cards and asked how much from which one.
I remember the days where you had to be proactive and ask/explain/beg for these.

I read this yesterday and have been thinking about it.
Do you use the majority of your credit line each week and then pay it off? Or, over the month, your total spending remains below your credit line?
If it's the later, then no problem.  If it's the former, then your situation may be unique.

Recon line stayed at 7-10 msg called back a few days later again transferred to verification didn't ask any qs and tells me 1 to 2 weeks. Denied?

If it says 7-10 days you are either declined or they still need something. HUCA and ask.

Is there any use in call recon if denied a sapphire preferred based on not enough time of havinh credit history?
If yes , what would be the grounds for my recon request?
