Not sure if this is the place to post. Mods please redirect me if need be.
I currently feel like I have too many credit cards and lot of credit extended

Currently have
Chase: freedom, freedom unlimited, CSR, Hyatt, Marriott, United, ink cash
Amex: Marriott biz, amex everyday, OBC, blue business
Citi: bronze aA, dividend
Discover it

I believe Iím around 2/5 or 3/5. Havenít been able to accurately tell from free credit report or CK (says I have 0?!?)
Thinking of applying for amex cards.
What do you recommend I do? Close cards completely since lot of credit (whatís max % they give out?)? Close and move credit line? Apply anyways and see (amex themselves hasn't extended Too much credit but chase has been very generous)?
I know most people will say do chase since under 5/24 but look at my stack lol how would I even go about that?

get the ink preferred and then just apply for any amex and transfer at recon
instead of writing "+1" and clogging up the thread give a like!

Whatís your reasoning? Canít I always do that when maxed out at 5/24? Can you still get chase business over 5/24?
Also  High chance may not approve me for ink donít have actual business paperwork.  last time someone I know applied under sole prop they were still asked for business paperwork.... this was about a month ago

while they do not count towerds 5/24, you will not get approved for them if you are 5/24. as to your concern ... if you put your ss# for the tax id AND PUT YOUR NAME FOR THE BIZ NAME you are good to go

the is as good as almost any amex card so why wait. unless you want to spread out for 5/24 .

Applied for the SP reserve.
Denied because have the preferred for a while.
Is this a HUCA or official Chase rule?

I called the # in the wiki (1-800-432-3117), went through the prompts, and got this msg - "You will be notified in writing in 30 days."
What does that mean??

That you are not (yet) declined.
Check again in 1-2 days, you will either be automatically approved or the message will change to 7-10 days which usually means that they want some verification etc.
If it benefits even just one fellow DDFer, its worth posting it.

Do you know if HUCA will allow to close old and open new?
Curious if any approach is feasible..

Is it safe to apply for a chase business card if I got my last chase business card 2 months ago?
