Chase Fraud # 1: 1-877-470-9042  [Mon-Fri 8:00AM-8:00PM ET]
Chase Fraud # 2: 1-800-278-8830
(If you have a fraud alert on your account, recon will instantly transfer you here for verification, so you might as well call directly)

To fax in verification documents:
#1: 888-643-9624
#2: 888-643-9628
#3: 201-328-3289 (according to a rep from this dept, it's quicker than the other listed numbers)

Chase CS #: 1-800-432-3117

To know whether your application is pending or declined:
Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)
Press 3, then 1, then key in your SSN.
If you hear:
This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing of our decision, in approximately 2 weeks
It's pending.
If you hear:
This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing, within 7 to 10 business days, of our decision
It's been declined.

Business cards application status: call 800-453-9719.

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

Can't find a better place to post this.
I know it's been asked a million times, but I can't nail down an answer.
When exactly can I apply for a new Southwest Business card after having that one already?
The statement for the month in which I finished the spend and the bonus showed pending, closed on 4/22/22
Do I need to wait anywhere past 4/22/24? I don't know when the points actually hit my account

I called chase recon for my ink card
They asked questions
Then she said wants to send it in for a second review
She said I had too many cards
I never heard of that thought chase recon had power to make decisions themselves.

The lady was very nice.

She put In comments that I would be willing to move around credit and close a card.
She wrote specifically which cards I would like to move out credit and a card that I would be willing to close. She alluded to giving me a good recommendation of approval (that’s what it seemed, didn’t seem that she wanted to say this out loud in a direct way) she said I should hear something in 2 weeks.

Applied for CSP and letter said I already have the card. Issue is that chase shut me down years ago. I called lending and they said because the system thinks I have a card open, it’s not possible for her to reconsider the application. Any ideas?

Try asking to close down card in system?

They said possibly customer service can do it. I just don’t think they’ll talk to me

If we got the dreaded message of "7-10 business days" should we avoid doing a 2nd application today or does one not have any effect on another?

1. A relative was rejected for an ink card because their "business is not in good standing ". Will they reconsider?

2. Does Chase give temporary card numbers so I can use my new card immediately ?

1.  Did you call?  Explain why "the business IS in good standing"? [Sent via auto reply :) ]

2.  I've seen this Q asked multiple times, I believe the answer given was; try and call, otherwise no.
(You can ask them to expedite the card)

This typically means that the business missed a required filing at the state in which it's registered. This is not an answer about Chase but rather a general one about what the term means

I have a pending biz cc application, can I apply for personal cc which will push me to 5/24 or will that result in the biz card being denied?

Applied for 2 Business preferred yesterday.

One is pending, other is declined.

I already have 4 ink under one SSN that I rarely use...

Called about the pending card, and they had no info other than wait.

Called recon about declined and they said I have 4 inks that I rarely use, so they don't see why I need 2 more.
I offered to close an old one, or move line of credit from an old one but they said no. HUCA was a strong no as well.

Would it help to right now go and close 2 or 3 of my inks that I don't use, and then HUCA?

In general, is it a good idea to close old inks to avoid this problem? (till now, my thought process was to just keep them open and charge $2/ month...)
