PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

You asked a few questions which don't all belong on the same thread.

Regarding the Sapphire Preferred, you have to give us some more info regarding your general credit history as well as your history with Chase.

Points work very simple: as long as you have the SP or the IB/IP, you can transfer the points to various airlines.

The traveling question doesn't belong on this thread.

They initially did not approve you, you have to call the reconsideration number on the letter you received and ask/convince them to reconsider.
The ink is a business card and the SP a consumer card, with Chase they usually pull your report separately even if you applied simultaneously.

I just applied for a 3bm  SP, United and Freedom Chase cards two days ago and these are my first credit cards. All of them are pending and I have alot of money in a Savings account with Chase so do you think its better to call up Recon or to just walk into my Chase bank and tell them why I want each of these 3 cards and threaten to leave Chase if they really dont budge?

first call. Discuss each card separately.

Just found this-
http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/29113
"It’s also worth noting that if you have at least $10,000 in a Chase checking account your banker can send in a special reconsideration form requesting that you be approved.  Use this in case you face dead ends after calling the various departments and secure messaging them."

Ill def call first though thanks

how soon can you reapply for the 2 ink cards after closing the accounts and cashing out?

How fast can you click "Apply"?  That's how soon you can reapply.  But if you want to get approved you probably should wait longer...

My 3BM story....
« Reply #2875 on: May 31, 2013, 03:28:54 PM »
I did a chase business card 3BM (IB,IP,UE) using a tax ID number of a newly formed business. All three applications initially showed pending. I called once and got instantly approved for the IB after answering some questions about the business. (He thanked me for the personal cards I have with chase and mentioned my excellent payment history). I called two additional times, but couldn't get approved for Any more business cards at this time due to the business not having a credit history. My offer to transfer credit from my personal cards was rejected. I am reluctant to HUCA because the last agent mentioned my 2 prior calls and questioned why I'm calling again.
Any advice???

another dumb so called joke , you will never make it as a comedian

Thanks for setting me straight on that, from now on I'll give up comedy and only post serious replies.  I'm so lucky I found you!  It's a good thing I take everybody seriously when they offer a critique of my humor on an anonymous internet forum!  ;D
