Chase Reconsideration

I just did the same thing. 3BM Ink Bold, Ink Plus and Mileage Explorer business.

All 3 got "needs further reviewing"

Got IB approved after first call to recon. Others got denied.

Does that mean I can't HUCA anymore? By accepting the IB does that mean case closed?

Also, during the 3bm one didn't go thru for technical reasons, so I quickly repeated it and put it in within 5 mins, would that've caused another pull?

HUCA is closed 30 days from the date on your denial letter.  If you haven't gotten a denial letter yet then you've got a while left.  I say the sooner the better just because its hard to stay motivated if it drags on for days and days.  When I really want a card, I'll call recon at least once a day and sometimes twice for several days until I get approved.  Just try calling at different times of day.

When I called reconsideration they approved me for the United card and they told me that Chase doesn't approve more than 2 cards in a 30 day span. BTW it's a representative if they satisfy the customer. They're a shlub if they don't.

I disagree.  Before and after the call, they're all shlubs.  But during the call they are all representatives.

Called recon and asked if they could split the credit between the two, said no since SP has minimum 5k, also wouldn't close Freedom and open SP, said "we'll see how you do on Freedom and then work from there" or along those lines. Advice? HUCA?

That should work.  But first HUCA and just try a different rep and see if you can get it without splitting the credit.  Freedom has a $500 minimum I believe

Just HUCA!! Tell them you like using different cards for different expenses.especially if these are your only 2 chase cc.
