(If you have a fraud alert on your account, recon will instantly transfer you here for verification, so you might as well call directly)

To fax in verification documents:
#1: 888-643-9624
#2: 888-643-9628
#3: 201-328-3289 (according to a rep from this dept, it's quicker than the other listed numbers)

Chase CS #: 1-800-432-3117

To know whether your application is pending or declined:
Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)
Press 3, then 1, then key in your SSN.
If you hear:
This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing of our decision, in approximately 2 weeks
It's pending.
If you hear:
This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing, within 7 to 10 business days, of our decision
It's been declined.

Business cards application status: call 800-453-9719.

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

The 3 month wait time reccommended to wait between card apps, is that from the date of application or approval? (if they were different). Or does it really not matter?
How many cards are you applying for?  If one or two and if you've got good credit and aren't afraid to talk to the reconsideration line, you've got a good chance for approval.  The more cards, the more difficult, but not impossible.

Also, I waited 6 months on last, can i go straight to 3 months? or gradually go to 5, 4, etc.?
See above.

I posted that about a week ago, saying that chase huca .... most of the times they tell u "we see u called before and we told u blah blah.....   some ddf'rs totaly denied it saying that Chase is not Barclays style.... now here you go...
Yes, i still deny Chase recon has any similarities with Barclays recon. What by Chase is an anomaly, is standard procedure by Barclays.

I'd say it's from the last date they pulled your credit report.

I Applied for the IB IP, called the above number and on one app it says 2 weeks and one 7-10 days. Is there any hope I can get approved for both?

I didn't check my status before calling reconsideration, but I'd imagine mine was like that as the lady said one was pending and the other was denied at the start of the conversation.  You have a better chance getting them both approved if you call them now.   Most likely your denied app was due to too many recent apps.   If you get a favorable rep, they'll think that the denied app was because of the other pending app, in which case you just need to give a good reason for wanting both cards.

TY.

My last app was prolly 1.5 years ago, I had 4-5 cards from chase, now I have 3, but this is my first biz card I'm trying to open. Legit biz, so hopefully it'll go through.
Thanks again.

My last apps (not Chase) were last month.  And I already have a Chase Biz (SW) and other personal Chase cards.   And my business is not cash flow positive...yet.  So you should be in better shape.   Just have a good reason to tell them for wanting both cards.   Good luck!

They're all just saying that there's nothing they can do, it has to go through verification process that will take anytime between today and up to 30 days. There's nothing they can do to expedite it. I can't even get to the part of explaining why I need the cards.

You will need to wait then until it's processed and then start the recon process.

I thought I was going to have to cancel another card, but like everyone else, I couldn't get the recon people to talk to me at all. Yesterday I noticed that a new account had been added to my Chase business online account center. I called the automated application status number and I was approved for a nice-sized credit line without speaking to recon or closing another card.

Rep asked me if this was my primary source of income to which i replied us but I've only put 20k revenue in my application & he also said to wait 6-7 days before we process this. Approved or not approved? FYI- Applied for both Ink Plus & Bold yesterday & application is still pending for review. What do i make of this should i call back? I already have 5 personal  cards with chase. Please advise. Thanks

Guess I got lucky.  I called immediately after I applied yesterday...had to wait a few minutes to get through to a rep and then just opened with "I just applied for the IB card and was told it was pending.  Is there any info I can provide to help the process along?"  Was never told about any backup.
