I was just told by Chase Reconsideration that due to having too many cards open I wouldn't be getting approved for another card, even if I used some of my credit limit from another account.
I then went to apply online for the BA card and was instantly approved.

Does anyone know if I should expect some action on their part? Should I preemptively request to lower some of my credit limits to have the same overall line of credit?

What does that mean?
Don't rely on phone rep.

There is a thread somewhere listing all or most of the acronyms used.

I applied yesterday for the Chase UMPE Business card. After submitting the app it saod pending so I called Business lending to find out the story. I spoke to a rep who looked over my app for about 5 min and then spoke to me for 20 min about my business, gross income this year last year etc. after the conversation she said she had to do a last review. She comes back 10 min. Later and said there's nothing she could do for me as there's 25K in new credit (last 6 months) and they're not willing to shift a CL for me. Is there anything I could do at this point as this should've been my best chance as she did interrogate me and was satisfied with my answers just couldn't do it because of the above stated reason.

Offer to close any old cards , not just shifting the CL. (You can say for the rep that you got this offer before and you made a decision to go for it  ;) )

I did a 3BM and got approved for one card and got declined for the other 2.  I am about to close 2 american express accounts (1 personal and 1 business). Is it better to close them before calling chase reconsideration or after? Also I just want to confirm that I should be trying to get approved for one at a time? (meaning 1 phone call per card)?

DO the calling in one day , I have found that chase will re-pull  a new report if not --others may have not had this problem

Start with that. If you feel the rep may approve another card, go for it.

I read in the papers this week that Chase closes accounts without any notice, and somebody told me that on Kol Mevaser there is an interview with somebody .... that he knows that Chase closed a lot accounts without any notice so he would prefer to transfer it before it gets closed. Actually I sold miles this week to someone and I asked him if he would buy my UR points so he told me that he doesn't buy now because he lost 40k dollars worth of accounts what Chase closed sudden.

Does anyone know/heard of an account what got shut down sudden?

(I posted in this thread because I didn't want to open a new one, if .... .... .... .... you think it belongs in another thread just switch it)

Yes, they said that it will be forwarded to the right person.. But maybe if I send it to the right department from the beginning, I'll get a quicker response

When you try recon let's say 2 weeks after the original app denial, do they pull your credit again, or it's based on the original report that they pulled when you applied?

YMMV. However you can try asking them not to pull again.
