Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)

It's been declined.

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

Funny story:
My friend applied with a 3BM with chase and he only got accepted to one, he was able to get accepted for a second with recon, but the last one he was having bad luck, he HUCA a bunch of times and he was getting the same answer: "we only accept for 2 cards every 30 days",
his last call the rep asked him why did he call 7 times today? The answer is still no! Chase only accept for 2 cards every 30 days...

Didnt know they take notes of how many times you call
😧

Should he keep on trying?

I asked recon why I wasn't excepted. They said they couldn't verify my date of birth and I should fax them my license with reference number.

My Chase recon via SM success story:

I 2BM'd for my wife for Freedom and SP (wanting to take advantage of the 20k bonus on freedom). She was instantly approved for the freedom, but not the SP. She wouldn't know what to tell recon, and I couldn't call on her behalf so I used SM. They approved her the same day!  ;D (copy of SM below).

MY SM:
"I have been a loyal Chase customer since xxx. I live with my
husband and share expenses. However we would like to keep
track of my spending vs. his. Hence my application for my
own credit card.
I am disappointed however that I was declined for the
Sapphire preferred card. I could greatly benefit from the
no foreign exchange fee and the opportunity to transfer
my Ultimate Rewards points to your travel partner points
programs.
I have been a loyal Chase customer, we have paid all our
bills on time in full, and would like to continue to do
so.
I appreciate your consideration of this matter, and look
forward to a positive response.
Best wishes for a good day,"

AND THE RESPONSE:

We have reconsidered your original request and are pleased
to inform you that your request has been approved. A more
detailed letter has been sent to you.

Do you remember the order in which you applied for the cards? If so, they state the time of the application during the automated message, no?

My memory is failing as I near 30 :P
You can also just call up Recon and say that you wanted to know the status of each application. If you're asking because you want to plan a strategy for getting the other ones approve, you can always just HUCA after you found out the status of each one.

Is chase getting more machmir on approving credit cards?. I did a 2BM for 2 business cards The united explorer business and Chase Ink.  Ink got approved but when I called chase reconsideration to get Explorer approved they were very aggressive saying we have opened up too many cards in the past and why are we doing this.  When I HUCA again rep said you just called, why are you making amazon payments, that it costs chase money to process each card and it costs them to award points and that they are not in the business of amassing points etc.....

Whats going? any other ideas? strategy?
