PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

Even personal recon getting tougher. They asked me about the amount of cards opened since April of 2013. The want to know why I opened 21 cards since then. They also asked me business recon style detailed question about my (legit) sources of income.

I'm assuming that many of us are doing AORs every three to six months. How has everyone been dealing with these questions?
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

I think the question of handling Chase Reconsideration calls in light of having done multiple AOR's in the past falls squarely within the purview of this thread.

I'm referring to referring to that question.

I did manage to get two more cards approved, though. :)

I did a 3BM with Chase. First card got instant approval the second card pending and the third card instant approval. Afterwards I only got only 2 emails one saying approved and one saying pending. When I call to check app status it says one pending one declined and one approved. Also the card I was approved for was added to my account online.

Does this mean that the second card I was approved for was now declined(or at least pending) or will it straighten itself out after a few days? Once I have to call recon I would rather get the card that was declined then this approved/pending card so I'm not sure which one to call about first.

I applied for the UA and got an immediate approval email yesterday. Today, when i call the status line it still says pending and in approximately two weeks....which i know means i will get approved. Also, card has not showed up in my online account yet. Does all this make sense?

Yes it makes sense.
Cards with 3rd party reward programs takes some time to be setup.
I've had 2-3 weeks ago as well as other DDFers.
I try my best :-\

Yes.  My last two Chase 3BMs started off the same way (November 2013, April 2014).  It took some persistence (three calls for the third card) and some BS'ing, but I got it done.

You just need to convince them why you need all three cards.

I tried, however they are persistently telling me that I have sufficient credit, and every time I HUCA they read the notes and ask me if anything has changed since I last spoke to them  >:(
